we were not notified about our delivery/time on the ‘day of delivery’ - a courtesy call after waiting a week to let us know the table was in and would be delivered the next day would have been sufficient since i was told it came in yesterday. the voicemail was rude and said ‘they didn’t have time to wait’ after we have spent over $700 and have waited a week as well. i spoke to the manager - he was rude and not helpful as he was the one that left the voicemail. i rather go spend twice the amount of money somewhere else with good customer service then shop here for my home.

10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE - No one should have to wait 3 days to hear back about when a repair will be scheduled! 3 supports under our bed in the middle went out. This bed was just put together 3 weeks prior to the sudden collapse we felt in bed. This company is a joke do not buy anything from them if you need a repair its not even through them. By far the worst experience ever with buying furniture what a welcoming experience being new to Virginia. Happy hunting elsewhere!

We recently purchased a rocker recliner. The manager was helpful,but not pushy.He called to keep us updated on when the chair would be in. We would definitely buy furniture from Schewels Home again.

The worst customer experience I’ve ever had. From the very beginning, the manager lied to me, assuring me that everything was in stock. Based on his words, I completed the entire purchase. After paying, I was surprised to find out that the sofa wasn’t available, and that it would take one to two weeks. Five full weeks passed with no update, and when I went to ask, the manager spoke to me arrogantly and disrespectfully, as if he was doing me a favor—no apology, no effort to fix the issue. What’s even more shocking is that his behavior is practically pushing me to cancel a $10,000 order, meaning he’s willing to cause a huge loss to his company rather than simply communicate politely or show basic professionalism. Honestly, a terrible experience, and I wouldn’t recommend dealing with them at all. Zero honesty, unacceptable delays, and completely unprofessional behavior
