We arrived very close to closing time on a Friday night to shop for a new mattress. Ms. Micalah greeted us very politely with the utmost professionalism and took great care of us. We had several questions about the different models and were blown away with how knowledgeable she was about the products. She was able to articulate to us the differences between the mattresses in detail, even including where each was manufactured. I mentioned that we understood that the store closed soon but she made it clear that she not want to hurry us and encouraged us to take our time. In fact, Micalah went above and beyond to ensure that we got to experience the “bedMatch” technology that had been recently implemented and walked us through each matching recommendation. Throughout the process Micalah demonstrated exceptional professionalism, knowledge, patience, and integrity. I run my own business here in town and know how important it is to have strong customer service. I applaud Sleep Outfitters on their hiring and training processes and even more so Micalah individually for her great customer servicer experience.

When my husband and I decided to purchase a mattress, we understood that many stores carry the same products, often at the same prices. We already had a good idea of what we wanted, and after visiting another store in the area, we stopped by Sleep Outfitters. Micalah greeted us warmly and took the time to guide us through the buying process. Unlike the other store, she did not start by having us lie on the highest-priced mattress in the showroom. Instead, she asked thoughtful questions, had us go through the BedMatch process, and walked us through the store while continuing to learn more about our needs. She was kind, professional, honest, and never pushy. She did not pressure us with “if you buy today” tactics like the other stores did. She knew the features and benefits of each product and helped us feel informed rather than sold to. No one wants to be “sold” something. People want to be guided honestly so they can make the best decision without pressure. After we left, I called Micalah with a few questions. She promptly called me back with the answers, and I told her we would be back the next day. After our purchase, one of the competitors called that same afternoon. When I explained that we had already made a decision and purchased, they immediately started offering discounts and explaining why they were better and even asked me to cancel my order with Sleep Outfitters! Had they simply said, “I understand. Can you explain why you decided to go with Sleep Outfitters?” it would have been much more beneficial to them. People want your best from the beginning. When you lead with the customer’s needs, listen, and guide them honestly, the sale takes care of itself. Micalah did exactly that, and we truly appreciated the experience.

After years of hand me downs, it was time to purchase my first mattress, and I had no idea where to start. Dan took the time to explain everything to me and answer any questions I had. He also left me to test out different mattresses, I didn't feel pressured with him standing over top of me. Very nice, helpful, and didn't feel like I was being pushed to purchase anything one way or another. I'm very pleased with my mattress and the customer service from beginning to end. Dan is the best!
