We are shop small business people. When it came time to purchase a new sofa we naturally sought out Smith Village, big mistake. We found a sofa we liked and the salesman talked to us about a warranty. We explained we don’t purchase the warranties but mentioned it covers dog damage. Since we had 2 80 pound dogs (one of which is a puppy) it seemed like a smart decision. Guess what, we ended up with pet damage. Turns out everything isn’t covered after all. Don’t buy the warranty and don’t buy from Smith Village. This was purchased under my husband’s name David Bowman. #2307220001 Would love to hear from you if you are able to help.

The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They charge fair prices not inflated prices which I appreciate. I've always had a good experience with Smith Village and they have furniture to suit any style of decorating.

I recently purchased a dining set and an England queen sleeper. Pam was a huge help when I was trying to figure out what I wanted. The furniture seems to be high quality and I’m very happy with how it all turned out. The furniture arrived in the expected time frame. The delivery crew were very friendly and did a great job. The reason for four starts instead of five was that they had entered my phone number wrong into their system. I’ve also received mail from them with a slightly inaccurate address. So it seems that they have some organizational issues. None of this caused any major problems with my purchase, but it could have been smoother.

Purchased a southern motion sectional just over a year ago, have had not one but 4 things wrong since owning it. Seat crunches when you sit from day 1, corner wedge wood broken in frame, lever for foot snapped and now the final straw the fabric has a hole where the seem is pulling apart on the least used spot on the sectional. Seat was trimmed no charge, lever was $75 service call and wedge was replaced by factory same visit. Unfortunately it’s past the warranty, was told we were purchasing good quality, it’s the worst quality we have owned in over 20 years. Sent pictures of the latest asked for a manger to call me and they had the customer service lady relay the message it’s not covered and or repair main isn’t good at sewing but I could pay the $75 for him to come Look at it. I guess management was too busy to give me a call at my request and just goes to show how they are running a business. Hide behind the poor ladies filtering the complaints. I Don’t suggest listening to the sales folks that their furniture is well made. A discount store sells better quality. I feel like I need to put plastic over my sectional and tell everyone to sit on the floor. I can only imagine how it would hold up if I had children in the house. Would.not recommend looking at furniture at Smith Village, more expensive is NOT better.
