Stickley Furniture | Mattress

We entered the store on a Saturday afternoon 45 minutes before closing. We didn’t know what to expect since it was our first time in this store and our first time investing in real furniture. Lisa met us at the door as we walked in and asked us if we needed help with anything. We didn’t know exactly what we wanted, just that we wanted a sectional of some sort. Lisa had a few questions on what we were looking for and our living room lay out. Turns out we really had no idea what we were looking for and Lisa took us by the hand and patiently walked us through the options. Lisa took our layout, color of our walls, our Persian hand me down and color preferences! We had decided to change to a sofa love seat combo that we got really excited for. Lisa worked with us until 530 again with patience and enthusiasm. We are so excited for our new furniture and Lisa walked us through one our least favorite things to do.

Had a great experience getting an oriental rug at Stickley. Ellen the sales associate was so patient and helpful in helping me find a rug in my price range. She and another associate went above and beyond to remove the rug from under heavy furniture and place it in my car so I could try it in my home ( a great perk) before buying it.

Please note that everything at the store is custom and once you order, you cannot cancel it, even if you have not received the merchandise and it is in the warehouse. This pertains to mattresses as well. Very long lead times for something as simple as a mattress. Very inflexible delivery times. Routine delivery is every other Thursday. If you need something quicker, you have to escalate it. Sales people should be more transparent and state that all sales are final, even if you have not received a merchandise and delivery takes longer than expected. They should also inform people that delivery is every other Thursday. I’m sure the quality of the merchandise is good but the sales people should be more transparent with this information. I should’ve gone to PC Richardson as they do sell high-quality mattresses with very quick shipping.

Beautiful furniture and very helpful staff! Yvonne was no- pressure, knowledgeable, patient and offered creative design ideas. A great experience- highly recommended if you’re looking for furniture that is high quality and don’t mind spending a bit more.
