TEMA Furniture is an incredibly unique place. This isn't one of those cookie-cutter furniture stores with everything in shades of boring Millennial Grey, or stylized with "Live, Laugh, Love" suburban-mom-tier tackiness. No, TEMA curates a selection of very high quality practical furnishings that are individual instances of fine art in their own right. Big Scandinavian/Mid-century Modern/tasteful minimalist vibes, for sure. If that sort of aesthetic appeals to you, then you'll absolutely adore TEMA. Prices tend to run higher than elsewhere, but the investment is well worth it. These are very well-crafted pieces that you'll probably be able to keep in the family for decades. The furniture delivery was also fast, professional and handled with the utmost care. I highly recommend TEMA for any furniture needs in Albuquerque. Ask for Nez, she's tremendously sweet, helpful and has excellent taste!

This store is wonderful! My partner and I were immediately welcomed into the store by Gwen (ask for her!). While we didn’t know what exactly we wanted to purchase at first, she was incredibly patient, kind, and generous with her knowledge, expertise, and time. We didn’t feel pressured to purchase anything but we were given all the information we asked for. We ultimately decided on purchasing a table and chairs but were not ready to purchase that day. Even though we did not purchase that day sure she made sure we had all the information prior to ordering. A couple weeks later we came back and purchased the table and chairs with her. The whole process was incredibly smooth and efficient thanks to her. She is very professional and detailed with her work. She made sure that we were taken care of and gave us the attention and kindness we deserved even as young customers. Tema is very honest with their prices with no sales gimmicks and has incredibly high quality furniture. Thanks to Gwen, we will definitely be future customers of TEMA!

Gorgeous, solid dining chairs will probably last for my great grandson to use them. It took a little extra time for them to be crafted, but was well worth the wait.

I bought a sectional couch from TEMA 3 years ago. It was a closeout and we bought it for $3500. It was marked at $5000. We were told that it was genuine leather and we believed what we were told. last month the stitching on the couch started splitting. I looked up the warranty for Palisser and it stated that the couch was under warranty. Yesterday, I sent TEMA pictures about the issue and they informed me that we had bought faux leather and the couch was not under warranty. They did not offer to rectify the situation. Please do not shop there, you do not get what you pay for.

When we purchased a mattress from Tema about 3 1/2 years ago, we never imagined that a hump would form in the middle which forces you to roll to the edge. When two store representatives came to take photos for Serta, I discovered that Tema no longer carries Serta mattresses and that a hump in the middle of your mattress does not equal manufacturer’s defect. I said that I always expect a store to stand behind their product and wasn’t very happy. I thought perhaps, at least, I would be offered a discount on a new mattress. However, Tema takes no responsibility for their product. Instead the gentleman said I had treated them badly and turned and walked out on me. The young lady did apologize for that inappropriate, unprofessional behavior. I have actually never in my life been treated that way and never been accused of treating someone badly. While our original salesperson was extremely professional and kind, I will certainly never shop at Tema again. They may be considered the best furniture store in Albuquerque (at least the most expensitve), but wait. They may be the best until you have a problem and then they are not. Follow up I knew we would get a long excuse from owner/management and no apology. The mattress was on a box spring and full support for three years and 3 months, during which time the hump and sagging occurred. We tried different methods to see if we could improve it. The representatives did not ask about that.
