I had a great experience with my purchase of my new mattress. Everyone I spoke with and dealt with during the transaction was very nice and helpful, including the delivery guys. I am completely satisfied with my purchase. I love my new mattresses. They're very comfortable, causing me to sleep well. I have no complaints. I definitely recommend this store. Purchase a king comfort adjustable size mattress that was delivered yesterday. The delivery was FIRST CLASS (awesome team). Although, I was warned there would be discomfort the first 2-3 weeks of sleeping on the mattress, I certainly was not ready for this type of discomfort. It took me at least 3 hours of twisting and turning before I realized the pain in my buttocks and back were not going to allow me to fall asleep. I eventually got up in pain and folded a throw blanket under my back and buttocks to relieve the discomfort. However, this morning my body feel like I’ve been in a brawl that I loss, the back and buttocks pain is telling me that I’m not sure if I can take this for 2-3 weeks. I want to put a mattress pad on the bed, but my husband say that’ll delay the mattress getting broke in. I certainly hope I don’t regret this purchase, because this mattress is making me think I should have kept
My old mattress which was perfectly fine, just not adjustable. ☹️

We were looking for Living Designs Furniture & decided to drive up to the Woodlands location in the hopes of purchasing a couch. We spoke to Sandy (apologies if I’ve gotten your name wrong!). She was extremely professional and personable. She explained that while they do have the samples to try out, they do not sell the couches out of that location (Texas Mattress Makers is the same company & they only sell mattresses there). She suggested we go downtown to the factory & was very helpful with any of our other questions we had. We drove straight downtown, found the perfect couch & purchased it for delivery the following Saturday. Well, that would have been perfect except that we had one of the worst customer service experiences ever when Debra handled our sale. She was completely inept as far as the computer system & had no idea what she was doing. She continually interrupted the 2nd salesperson for help even though he was trying to finish up his own sale & kept making his customer wait. I apologized to his customer for this as we were both at a loss as to why Debra was so inept. She explained that the computer system had just been updated & shes actually a designer & been with the company for quite some time. She was trying to be personable with us, but she was really struggling with that. We are not shocked that our delivery did not get scheduled because Debra FORGOT to follow-up with the delivery request to get it on the schedule. So, we do not have our couch & are sitting here on IKEA chairs while I type this review. This would have been a 5 star review if it hadn’t been for Debra’s complete lack of not only computer skills but customer service skills. We called & spoke to Marco who handled getting our couch scheduled for delivery 3 days from today & listened to our complaint as well.

The delivery was scheduled for early afternoon & we were so surprised when they called to ask if they could deliver it earlier! They were extremely professional & handled each piece with care & even set it all up for us. We absolutely love the couch & have never had a more comfortable, well made, gorgeous couch! Highly recommend Living Designs Furniture within Texas Mattress Makers! They are the best!

Excellent experience from start to finish. Our salesperson was patient and helpful, and the mattress is lovingly custom-made and so comfortable. Delivery was outstanding! When you go to test the products, check out their Living Designs showroom too - I'll be back to purchase a sofa and/or chair from them as soon as I need them.
I also love how much they do for the community (they just don't toot their own horn about it 24-7 like that guy who resells stuff at twice the price). Please support this family-owned business, and keep an eye on their sales, because the prices are excellent. The fact that everything is made in-house makes the affordability even more impressive. Pro tip: spring for the cooling topper if you get warm during the night. Thank you, Texas Mattress Makers - I'm about to go take a legendary nap.

I return today to discuss an issue I was experiencing with a mattress purchased 3 months ago. I was complaining that the edge of the mattress deflected alot when I was sitting on the edge, more so than the "bed of nails" rigidity should have depressed, at least in my opinion. After much back and forth, questions and answers regarding the benefits of hard foam vs soft on the mattress perimeter, an acceptable solution to the problem was reached. A new mattress will be built with a firmer, 6" wide band of foam around the perimeter and there will be no change to the interior field matress coils. It was pleasant working with Sonja, Lax, and eventually with the owner himself. We all parted on a positive note, and I did not need to whack anyone with my cane.
I would not hesitate to purchase anything from this organization in the future. The sign of a good company is not whether they made a mistake or not, but how did they correct that issue, once discovered.
