Thrift Store USA

I need to share my experience here today on February 28, 2026. I came here with my sister and niece. We were in the toy section and were watching a little boy and girl playing. The boy was pulling on an insecure shelving unit and a large toy fell and hit the girl on the head. She began immediately bleeding profusely. I mean profusely. You couldn’t even see the cut. My sister is a nurse and began to help the parents with the daughter and I ran to get a manager from the checkout desk. The checkout person reacted immediately and called for a manager over the intercom. I ran back with a towel to soak up the bleeding and no manager came for at least 15 minutes. That’s a long time for a little scared kid and the parents. When the manager finally approached, as casual as could be, she tells us that she already reviewed the security tapes. DOESNT BRING A FIRST AID KIT. Places blame on the little boy for doing something kids do. Just totally incompetent. I’m sickened that they took the time to watch the security tapes rather than coming to an aid of a toddler covered in blood. And was more concerned with covering their own butts.

I was visiting to help set up my son at an apartment. And let me tell you Matt, Noah and Eris were awesome to work with. They help you with whatever you need. They went beyond to make sure we were taken care off. Store is very neat easy to find the items. They definetly have my business. If you around the area check them out. They do not disappoint.

If your looking for unique items its a wonderful place to visit. Very large thrift store with lots of everything and rooms with such beautiful items. Found a mattress topper in great condition. Also found hot rollers for my sweetie. I couldn't believe how many moving crates they had. Thanks for this store.

Had a good experience here. Lots of media items, and they are well-organized in their own room. We bought a lot of interesting laserdiscs for $4 each. Also picked up a good number of Cd's at 99 cents each. A decent selection of electronics and home items. Overall a clean and well-organized store that has a lot of merchandise worth browsing.

So I found myself in a thrift store today because you know my wife likes them.... It's not the first one I've been in but it is one of the best. This place is absolutely well managed and it must have some high quality employees because management only takes you so far I mean the place is obviously clean. The clothes are abundant and organized by size and - wait for it - color. Yes lots of places try to organize by color to a degree, But not like this place. High quality stuff too. The prices on some name brands and a lot of the shoes are a bit high but much of the stuff is well priced. Even by my 1990s standards.... So I'm just impressed. My hats off to the management and to the folks that work at Thrift Store USA On East Little Creek Road in Norfolk.
