Purchased a mattress from Van Winkle in December of 2023. No problems with the mattress. The bed frame model number NBP-MF2-QU was sold significantly above the value that retailers like Amazon sell it for and I was originally unhappy with this markup, especially given how cheap it feels and how creaky it became after a year of usage. Ken at Van Winkle Mattress was very quick to reach out about my review and do everything within his power to resolve this problem for me and make sure that I walk away feeling like I paid a fair price and did not get scammed, explaining that the price from their supplier is significantly higher than what retailers like Amazon offer at retail price, and that this feedback signals to them it's time to do some research into the current market for these frames and figure out how to resolve this problem. I purchased a full size futon couch a month or so ago. I went to Van Winkle because I didn't want to make such a large purchase sight unseen. The staff was incredibly helpful, explaining the relative benefits of each mattress and frame. I recently moved into a small place, and the doorway was so narrow that they had to put the couch together inside the room, which the delivery guys did, quickly and cheerfully. Very happy with both the product and the service; highly recommend this great local business!
