I have had good experiences up until my last purchase. I purchased 4 kitchen appliances one of which was a refrigerator. I was in the store browsing and I picked out a total kitchen appliance set but wanted to go home and measure my opening. The sales person said “no need to do that they are all standard at 36”. I took her word for it. I purchased the protection for all appliances. When they arrived the frig did not fit. I needed a 33” refrigerator so I picked out something else that would match with all the other appliances. Two weeks later when the refrigerator arrived to the store the manufacturer had changed the design of the handles and my sales person called me to make me aware of the situation. I looked online to see what they looked like and said I would not be satisfied with the new design as it didn’t match the rest of the appliances. I was offered a different option with the see through door at yet another increase in price. I asked to hold off on this and let me do some searching. I ended up buying a refrigerator from another store that looks great with the rest of my appliances. I went to the store to ask for a refund on my refrigerator purchase and this is what happened. I spoke with a manager and she was agreeable to refund my refrigerator purchase and also the protection plan which is what I expected and she said a check would be sent to me. Four days later i get a call from the sales person telling me I will not be getting a refund for the protection plan and I have a restocking fee of over $200. So now I’m screwed out of over $500. She proceeds to tell me that I used my protection plan to return the first refrigerator even though I believed her regarding the size. Not all my fault and that the second refrigerator had to be restocked and that was also my fault. How was I supposed to know they changed the design of the refrigerator just recently? Nobody told me this. Now I have been waiting weeks for barstools that were in stock but still haven’t been delivered to the store yet. I am simply furious with this company. I do not recommend them to anyone. They will screw you over. And in addition I have still not received a payment for the remainder of what they owe me.

Joel was my salesman. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and very nice. I hope he is still there the next time I need furniture. I got an excellent price and a “black November” discount!!! I can’t wait till delivery day.

I had initially ordered some items from the Auburn/Garrett location and realized that one of my pieces would not fit. The sales manager at that location, would not exchange it for a different item despite the one that I ordered was still boxed up in their warehouse brand new never touched. I eventually stopped by the Angola location and the sales manager there did it without a problem. Excellent customer service at the Angola location.

Great until they had our money. Service was crappy. Mattresses/foundations (3) were way too tall. . The salesperson assured us that the height would be perfect. Nope, waited 6 weeks get new foundations. 2nd time came with wrong ones. No, “I’m sorry.” Salesperson was not helpful at all! Don’t think I will be buying from them again.

Very helpfully in explaining the difference between mattress’s. Clean store friendly staff. Because I bought a mattress I received $200 off my next purchase! I chose a dining table set. Thank you Van’s! Your my go to furniture store!
