Vergin Furniture and Appliance Sales

I have been a long time, loyal customer, along with my family, but they have lost our business! Robin is terrible to deal with. Mailed a letter to Reinhold Vergin. It was marked "confidential & personal, only to be opened by addressee." A family member had an issue with a purchase. I explained it all in the letter & asked him to call me. I never received a call back. I can only conclude, Robin confiscated the letter. I was hoping that our family's long history of supporting this business would have mattered, but I guess it didn't!

Bought a new dryer on Monday was delivered on Thursday and set up that same week. The prices are not bad.. Salespeople are great and very helpful. Delivery guy's were wonderful. If I need service for any appliances they can do that too. Buy from local businesses they are our local people. They have been here since I've moved in the Buffalo/Rockford area.

Please don't trust them. When we went in to purchase furniture we informed them we had a 29 inch entry. Robin informed us that what we picked out would have the backs removed from it and that it would be 27 inches and have no problem getting the furniture in. When they arrived the backs were on the furniture and they said they were bolted and not able to be removed. The delivery guy said he didn't want to scratch the wall. I informed him to use a towel or blanket to wrap around the furniture since there is 2 more inches of clearance. They said they couldn't get it, so they took the furniture back. I sent my adult son (who was at the house for delivery) to get the refund. They charged me a delivery charge of $49.50 plus tax. They told me that was 1/2 of the charge. I told them that was ridiculous and asked for a refund. They said no because they delivered it and it wouldn't fit. I explained that Robin informed us the backs would come off for delivery - which they could not. Very ridiculous that they won't stand by their word and refund the fee.
