Top Mattress Stores in Olympia

Ashley Store

Queen mattresses generally fall in the lower-to-middle price range, and bundled bed sets can cost less than buying the frame and mattress separately. The selection includes entry-level and mid-range models.

Delivery Considerations

Check the delivery window and fees before placing an order, and ask whether the store will take away your old mattress. Many Olympia stores can deliver within a few days, though stock and your address affect timing. Bed-frame assembly and setup may come at an extra cost.

Tell the store about narrow stairs or other access limits, especially if you are moving or live in an apartment. Our shopping checklist can help you remember what to ask about delivery before you pay.

Mattress Buying Guide

Understanding Firmness Levels

A firmness rating is only a starting point. A mattress that suits a side sleeper may feel uncomfortable to someone who sleeps on their back, though medium-firm works for many people. Lie in your usual position for at least ten minutes before making a decision.

Materials affect how a mattress feels, even when two models share the same firmness rating. Compare how memory foam and latex respond against innerspring and hybrid designs, paying attention to pressure at your shoulders and hips.

Size Selection Strategy

Queen is the most popular size. If you share a bed or want more room, a king may be a better fit. Measure your bedroom before shopping, leaving space to move around the mattress. Our size guide explains the common sizes.

For a partner who moves often during the night, consider a larger mattress or a model with good motion isolation.

Budget Planning

When setting your budget, include delivery, setup, and any bedding you need. A mattress is a long-term purchase, so paying a little more for a model you will use for years may make sense. Use our mattress calculator to estimate the total.

The return policy and warranty can tell you a lot about a mattress's value beyond its sticker price. Our full buying guide explains what to check.
