Janet from Ashley Furniture did a wonderful job helping us today! From the moment we walked in, she was friendly, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. She took the time to answer all of our questions, helped us find exactly what we were looking for, and made the entire experience easy and enjoyable. View on GoogleJames assisted us three days in a row and was incredibly patient and helpful in guiding us to allow us to make our own decision and wasn't just trying to upsell. He allowed us to bring four pillows home ovwrnight from all sets being considered to help with our decision. Peggy was equally as great 14 months prior when we were looking before our house was built. She was the first person that helped us. James was kind enough to give her credit for the sale as well. Shows what a great guy he his. All the staff from door to checkout was incredibly friendly and we were always freet3d with a smile. A+++ is for A+++shley Furniture Store or Mechanicsburg. View on GoogleI purchased a 3 seat sofa costing $1,274, I took the 5 year protection plan and paid for delivery so the final total was $1,499, the salesman--Tom Gray-- was outstanding and made it a great shopping experience,when I stated it was my first time visiting this location and what I was looking for, he took time to explain the layout and yes it is large area layout inside the store and where best to look for the type of sofa I wanted, he was not pushy or aggresive, he made it a great shopping experience. I received my items on 17 January, the delivery team lead and his team took care in unloading and setting it up, he installed it quickly without issues and ensured I was satisfied with the delivery before I signed, Ashley Furniture Outlet definitely needs to give him a pay raise. My overall experience was great. So, you maybe wondering why I gave 4 stars and not 5. The individual that normally handle finance and payments was out sick and the manager that assist was also out sick, I had to wait almost an hour before I could pay and it was charged to my credit card for immediate payment even though the sofa would not be delivered until 2 weeks later, the person that was handling charges and financing that day normally do not work that position, it was very busy that day so I know he was somewhat overwhelmed, he apologized to me for the long wait and thanked me for my understanding. He definitely should receive a pay bonus for going above and beyond. Yes, it still doesn't exactly explain why I gave a 4 instead of a 5, my issue is that management should had a backup plan for such a scenerio in the era of Covid and numereous mutating viruses, especially on a Saturday which is most likely their most busiest day, maybe hire a part time employee or train all on financing and charging payments. Overall it was a great experience and I reccomend you give them a visit for your furniture needs at the very least you will have an excellent shopping experience even if you decide to not make a purchase.
View on GoogleStopped here today not really expecting to buy much. Was looking for a couch that would be good for me and my partner and many things online seemed cheap and limited from Amazon. Also, I never know if reviews are fake or real there. There's something about seeing stuff in person versus online. You can get a feel for things and see it real time and really envision it being used. I guess that's the best way to put it. James was a salesperson there and he helped by showing us many different couches and even went above and beyond to show us mattresses and tables. He gave a run down of the materials used to make certain things and even let us sit and lay down on the furniture pieces. He recommended things for back pain and pet friendly items as well. We weren't really expecting to have a kind of service like that. Also, I thought it would be something where they push all these sales onto you. But when James mentioned it's not like that and we can come back any time we want whenever we feel comfortable buying something or just not buy at all, it fell way more laidback. We have desperately been needing a new couch and we were able to customize and find the perfect one for us. Usually, these places seem like gimmicks but everything felt authentic and luxury like service here. I think I'm rating it 5 stars just based off of this service alone and the whole experience. You go to a place like this to buy something that is going to last a long time. I will update this review in the weeks to come when the product comes, but I have extremely good faith we are gonna love the couch!
