Flanagan Mattress and Furniture

We like to shop local, and after reading the reviews we decided to check out Flanagan's. Joe was great to work with. He had pulled a muscle in his neck but he was still ready to guide us in finding the mattress we liked best. He's been in the industry a long time and sells brands he trusts. His store is jam packed full of mattresses. We were deciding between a latex mattress and a two-sided mattress and he taught us all about them without trying to upsell us. He also told us about common gimmicks in the industry (which there are no shortage of with private equity companies buying up store chains and popular mattress brands). His delivery guys were courteous and respectful of our home. They asked if we had pets. We said we have cats but they won't run outside. They still closed the front door every time they went in and out just in case. Overall great experience.

I wanted to wait a few weeks before posting a review. I was cautiously optimistic when I came across Flannigan mattress. I like no nonsense straightforward dealings and I got just that from Joe Flannigan. I "researched" mattresses and came away more confused than when I started. Joe is very knowledgeable and after talking with him a few minutes, he had me try 4 different mattresses. I bought a mattress that you flip. It is by a company out of Hartford, Connecticut that has been in business. I got the Buckingham Plush. What a difference!! My prior mattress was a Heavenly bed by Westin. While that bed was pretty comfortable, this one really feels like a much better build quality. The delivery was fast and very easy. Joe and his guys are great. Step away from big box and check Flannigan Mattress out. Joe will help you find the perfect bed at a really nice price. I couldn't be more pleased.

Joe Flanagan is a very ethical person to do business with. We bought a futon from him a number of years ago and there was a manufacturing problem with it. Joe sent his workers out and replaced it no questions asked. Recently we bought a split boxspring from him. Since we would not be there when we wanted it delivered, we gave Joe the door code. Next time we came to the house we had new boxsprings, the old one removed and a nice quiet non squeaky bed. Price was very reasonable. He is reliable

After going to a few of the bigger mattress chains, we were blown away when we saw the pricing, selection and quality at Flanagan mattress. We had very specific needs and Joe really helped us find what we were looking for. Thanks Joe!

After researching for countless hours on the internet and driving around trying mattresses we ended our quest at Flanagan Mattress. Joe is a brutally honest old school soul. We drove from Boston for our mattress and will do it again! Communication was beyond reproach throughout the whole process! Delivery team was fast clean and professional! Thanks for the great experience!
