Godby Home Furnishings

I have ordered several pieces of furniture from Carmel Godby and been very pleased! Recently I purchased a recliner sofa from them. Delivered on time and ordering was easy! After 5 days it was not a good fit for me physically so I returned to the store within the 5 day window! Richard Austin was the salesperson that assisted me both times! He was absolutely the best! No high pressure sales and assisted me with the initial recliner! When I returned on day 5 he was so helpful and helped me process the return! Again, no pushy sales tactics and when I chose the replacement recliner he took care of all the needed paperwork!! He was certainly was one of the best associates I have ever worked with!!!! Thank you Richard for all your assistance and the ease that you made for my purchases

Cynthia was AMAZING 🤩. The perfect blend of helpfulness and assertiveness my husband and I went. She introduced herself and was so kind she was present and kept an eye on us, but was not pushy or overwhelming. Anytime you go into a furniture store you assume that they are working on commission, which they do it Godby. But she truly had our best interest at heart she gave great recommendations and was very thoughtful. I went back today to purchase the furniture and set up for delivery she was lovely and so helpful. The only negative feedback is an employee was sitting watching TV which is totally understandable because they have so much downtime, however, they had the news on, and I was in such a great mood and then saw that I think it would have been better to have the TV completely off rather than be sitting there watching things about war. again, I completely get the downtime, but put something happy or more positive on

Every time I shop here, service is terrific. Two times in a row, I've walked in to "look," and found the staff helpful and accommodating without being overwhelming. They made the process easy, options understandable, and have all been (this time, Richard at the Carmel location) especially helpful. I walked out - again - having made a purchase I could easily have taken 3 months to make. Instead? Easy to make on the spot. Well done.

Alyce was great to work with. No pressure, very professional, responsive, and knowledgeable. Very comfortable sales agent and approachable. The store has a great variety of quality options, and the pricing is competitive. We will be back.

Alyce worked very patiently through our selections for new great room furnishings. They required the extra work of customizing for order. Highly recommend.
