Hudson's Furniture + Mattress

My wife and I went to Hudson Furniture to look for a mattress and had a great experience with Tim Thompson. The sleep-assessment technology they use was impressive and helped guide us in the right direction. Tim was knowledgeable, patient, and never pushy. He gave us plenty of time to try things out, listened to what we were feeling, and then offered thoughtful advice on what would work best for us. The biggest difference has been after the purchase—our sleep has improved noticeably since using the mattress and pillows Tim recommended. We’re waking up feeling more rested and comfortable. Highly recommend Tim and Hudson Furniture.

We purchased a sectional sofa and a rug in December. The sales associates were very knowledgeable and personable. Because the sofa was a closeout item and there were not enough pieces available in the warehouse to configure what we wanted, we purchased the floor model. The sofa felt perfect when we tested it in the store. The sofa was delivered approximately two weeks later. We paid $250 for delivery and installation. Upon inspection, we noticed that one of the chair’s headrests was not functioning. That same chair also appeared crooked and misaligned with the rest of the sectional. We contacted Hudson Furniture within a couple of hours of delivery. Linda was very kind and understanding and told us she would reach out to customer care to see how the issue could be resolved. Unfortunately, almost a month has passed and nothing has been done. We have contacted customer support multiple times, and the only solution offered was to use our Protection Plan, which we purchased in-store. The plan requires a $350 upfront payment that is refundable if no claims are made within three years. Requiring us to file a claim for this issue would forfeit that refund for damage that existed at the time of delivery and was not caused by us. We spent over $5,000 at this store, but based on how this situation was handled, we will not be returning and cannot recommend Hudson Furniture to others. Once the sale was completed, it felt like there was no concern for keeping us as customers.

WHAT A WONDERFUL 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 EXPERIENCE WITH TIM IN THE BEDDING DEPARTMENT OF HUDSON FURNITURE! We purchased our new bed over the weekend. We originally had planned to just look at what was out there and available and go to several places. But after the wonderful customer service, as well as the intricate technology that they have at Hudson furniture to diagnose which bed would best fit our physical needs, we ended up purchasing a Tempur-pedic with the adjustable frame! Our new bed should arrive this next weekend and we are so excited and look forward to many nights of good rest! Thank you, Tim for your knowledge and making this experience an excellent one!! 😊😊😊😊

I am so pleased and impressed with the professionalism of Hudsons Tampa Team, particularly sales associate, designer Samantha and her store manager Faith. Every step from my initial store consultation to home measurements-have gone smoothly and without pressure.
