In 2020 I ordered a custom John Thomas dining room set at Kent Furniture. I had the seats upholstered to add comfort and style to the set. From the beginning I did not really care for how the padded seats raised you up so high that there was barely any room between your legs and the table top. After 4 plus years I decided to call Kent to see if it was possible to order new seats for my chairs. He checked and told me he could order those for me. I have 6 chairs and the total for the new seats was $150. After a few weeks, Kent called me to give the bad news that the manufacturer could not deliver the seats. His next suggestion was to see if he could order the stain and he would remove all the padding (mind you, each seat had AT LEAST 250 staples that needed to be removed from very hard wood. I tried myself to get the staples out but stopped after the first one). He called a few days later and said he was able to get the stain and went ahead and ordered it. I took the seats to him and after about 2 weeks he called that they were ready. I asked him how they turned out and he was a little hesitant, but I could tell he was disappointed about the way they looked. His hesitation was confirmed when I saw the seats. The stain did not take to the wood and they did not look good. Kent did not give up his efforts to make me happy so he did more research and found a slightly different color from the manufacturer that would match the table better. He ordered the seats. THEN, he offered to have his staff come to my house (45 minute trip), AT NO CHARGE to install the new seats! The bottom line is after ALL the time and effort he put in to this process, I was not charged anything more! All this for $150. I can tell you that this guy Kent, stands behind his customers and will jump through lots of hoops to make sure they are happy. I have NEVER seen customer service at this level. I will NEVER shop anywhere else and would tell everyone to go to Kent Furniture! They are the best!
View on GoogleI had gotten two recliners from Kent Furniture Aug.2024. One had stopped working. They are electric. I called and the next day Jonh came out and replaced the motor. The service was extremely good and he had it fixed in no time. I want to thank him for his service. I will truly buy from Kent Furniture again because of their satisfaction of care for their customers.

View on GoogleFriendly staff that don’t stalk. Beautiful furniture and displays with varied price points. Some is a little pricey -but you also have to consider the quality. This is real wood. Cool clearance room in the back with odds and ends. Really large selection of varied shapes, colors, sizes, styles, etc. The store was clean and in good repair.
