Bought a three piece living room set, leather love seat was delivered with a rip in it on the bottom. Delivery driver took pictures of it said he would go ahead and leave it so we would have furniture as it was Thanksgiving 2024, and it would be replaced at a later date, I agreed. About a month later I received a package in the mail, it was a replacement cover that would need an upholstery person to install. I called Kinders and was told they would schedule a tech to come out and do it. It’s been almost a year and I have called several times with the same answer they would schedule a tech. Still not repaired. Never again will I do business with a company that does keep a commitment with it’s customers.

After finding the living room furniture my wife and I both love, we just had to get living room measurements and find the modular furniture that would fit perfectly. Love the color, style and how it works as far as we are concerned in our living room. After we finish a bunch of home remodeling we've had going on with a contractor, we will be going back to Kinder's for deck and patio furniture as well as furniture for home theater. Best furniture store in McMinn County.

View on GoogleWe purchased a catnapper sofa from Kinder‘s which is not even two years old and has already broken twice. We are middle-age adults who do not have small children, and we take good care of our property. It’s ridiculous to buy a sofa that cost more than $2000 and can’t even make it two years without breaking twice under gentle use. When we try to get it repaired, it takes weeks to months of chasing Bree in order to get repairs completed or parts ordered. We get a variety of reasons as to why such as “she is off today” or “she’s on vacation this week” or “she’s on a call”. We leave messages and ask for a return call, but it rarely comes or if it does it days or weeks later, so we have learned that we have to call on a weekly in the hopes of speaking with her once every 2-3 weeks. When we are able to have a conversation with her, we get more excuses such as “The repair guy is backed up for weeks” or “ he only comes to our area once a month”, or “ there’s a $15 shipping charge for that part and I’ve been waiting(for a month) for you to tell me that’s OK to order”, or “I ordered it weeks ago and haven’t received the invoice, the part usually follows two or three days after”. (That was two weeks ago-it seems odd to receive an invoice, but not a part…don’t they usually come together?) So when my husband called today, June 12, and was told yet again that she was not available, he left a message asking for a call back. He then contacted Jackson’s in Cleveland who manufactures Catnapper sofas to see if we could go through them to get our couch fixed. They told him the motor for our couch should have been received by the Athens store on May 19! After waiting two more hours for a response from Bree, he called again and…you guessed it, she was not available. He then received a TEXT from her that the part is in and ready for pick up. When we picked up the part, the post mark confirmed that it had been at the store for nearly a month while we were told it hadn’t come in yet. The recliner had been stuck in an upright position since March!!! We try to support local businesses and jobs for people in our area but we will never buy from Kinders again or recommend their store to anyone.
View on GoogleI have been wanting a retro table and chairs for years for my 1950's house. I watched the one I wanted for over a year but couldn't bring myself to buy online without seeing first. I decided to check the manufacturer website and was surprised to find that Kinder Express in Athens was a distributor. They did not have the table and chairs in stock but could order. Bri and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The pricing was comparable and I got delivery and set up which my husband was thankful for since he LOVES assembling,,lol. One of the chairs had a flaw and they took care of this. Try returning and having that taken care of on Amazon. Thanks to all the staff I love my beautiful table and chairs.
