Mattress Firm Independence

We had a wonderful experience at Mattress Firm and have bought several mattresses in the last 15 years. Gilbert was very knowledgeable, considerate and not pushy during our experience. He was also very patient when we went back and forth trying out mattresses to find the right one. So happy with our experience at mattress!!

It seems like everything these days is impossible to do (easily) and without 48 hurdles, let alone buying a new king size bed. I was ready for loopholes or bad service or whatever else and Gilbert at 39th St. mattress firm in independence absolutely blew me away with how easy it was to get my new bed. I don’t care if I live across town I will go back to Gilbert to get my next mattress. It’s very awkward, fake sleeping in front of someone that you don’t know, but he made me feel totally comfortable and made sure that my spine was aligned on all of the different mattresses I was looking at. He didn’t force me to look at anything I wasn’t interested in and helped me choose the best mattress based off of what I told him I wanted. He just wanted me to be happy and I so much appreciate that! Thank you so much! Delivery is so worth it as well! They were in and out in 5 minutes! And took away the crazy old boxspring I had no clue what to do with. I will definitely recommend this location specifically to my friends and family. Go there ask for Gilbert. If you don’t live nearby the drive is worth it. 😃

When we got there the salesman welcomed us and said to look around and he would be with us shortly, as there was a couple already there. When he finished up with them we told him how much we had to spend, and he showed us our choices and it just happened that the 1 we wanted was not in stock there, but their warehouse had some, so off we go to get our new mattress from the warehouse and the people there were really nice also. Would definitely recommend Mattress Firm to others!

We spent days shopping for a mattress. We ended at Mattress Firm, we were able to get a great deal. Sales person was Scott, he was amazing, not pushy, let us walk around and try different mattress and if we had any questions to just ask him. Mattress Firm also informed us of the 10 year warranty, which is amazing. I would definitely recommend the Independence location. We visited the one in Blue Springs and that place would not offer any discount on the electric base like the Independence location did. We had a base and didn't need a new one. So we went to Independence and got a great deal.

Great experience from start to finish! Scott was friendly, knowledgeable, and helped me find the perfect mattress without any pressure. They answered all my questions, explained the differences clearly, and made the whole process easy and comfortable. Excellent customer service!
