Ordered two chairs and patiently waited the 8-10 weeks for them to arrive. Husband's chair had grease from the mechanisms on several areas of the upholstery (the fix was simply wiping it off?!). My chair was making scraping sounds when reclining, wobbled when reclined, and generally felt like poor workmanship. Another chair was ordered, another 8-10 weeks later, I had a chair that was not much better; in fact, it was somehow worse. The wood frame dug in at the seat, the whole chair shifted forward and felt like it could tip over (when fully seated), and it felt as janky, if not more than the previous. When they came to inspect, I was told that if you don't buy a power recliner, this is to be expected. Really?! So quality only happens at a higher price point, apparently. When given options of a refund or coming in to order a different chair, I was told they couldn't leave the chair until I made up my mind or a replacement arrived, and would be once again, chair-less for another (probably) 8-10 weeks. Fine. As they dissassembled the chair (2 pieces) and one guy took out the smaller piece, the second attempted to move the larger piece, by himself, with it held wide along our wall, which he then scratched with the recliner lever. After I said as much, he looked at it and RUBBED it with his sleeve (which only marred it further), what is rubbing a scratched wall going to do? I asked for it to be noted, and when I received a call for a refund, I asked if they mentioned scratching our wall. Nope. Not a word. So I explained what happened. Nothing. This was weeks ago, and not even an apology or any offer to make it right. Guess we're scratching NE Furniture off the list of places we'll purchase from in the future. Edit to add: to make this even worse, I'm not entirely sure that a replacement chair was ever ordered/made. When they came and set up the "second chair", there was no tag on the chair, as there had been on the first. I still had the tag from the first chair, since I took it off. We received no paperwork for the second delivery either. This "replacement" chair had all the same issues as the first, some slightly worse, with an added issue I may not have noticed previously, being focused on getting the other corrected. We love to support local, but that alone does not mean that a business is trustworthy, reliable, or even willing to be held accountable.

When our furniture was delivered the 2 guys that delivered and set everything up were friendly, professional, knowledgeable, polite and respectful.
