Platt's Beach House Furnishings

My mom has been a fan of this place for a long time as their furniture is durable. We still have two futons we purchased 17 years ago and they still look brand new. So of course when my mom had to furnish her newly purchased shore house, Platt’s was our first stop. Frank greeted us with a warm welcome and assisted us with our questions. We went home to take some measurements before making our purchase. When we returned the next day we were passed off onto another associate as Frank was busy helping another customer. He assured us we were in good hands, however the new sales associate couldn’t have been colder. She did not speak to my mother nicely and made my mom really uncomfortable. It wasn’t until I bluntly mentioned that my mom wants to purchase the $4,000 sectional but wanted to look at other colors before making her final decision that the sales person changed their tune. Long story short we only left purchasing an accent table and left the store without the sectional. I would have given five stars if Frank met with us Sunday but sadly we didn’t end with a great customer experience. We decided to give our business elsewhere.

We can't say enough about Donna and Platt's Beach House Furnishings. This past spring we walked in looking for some outdoor furniture. We were very lucky to have Donna help us in our design process. We had no idea there were so many colors, fabrics and patterns to choose from. Donna was very patient with us. She did warn us this process could take hours. It actually took us a couple of visits to get everything picked out. Donna even made a trip over to our house to see the color of our decking, color of the siding, and to double check measurements. She wanted to make sure the colors all went together, and the furniture fit into the space. Fast forward to the delivery date....even the delivery team was great!! We invited Donna over after the delivery to see what she created for us. We love it, Donna loved it!! Platt's, you have a winning team! We will be back to see Donna again!! Mike and Donna

Lots of choices. Wonderful beach theme decor. Lots of great pieces. Excellent and friendly service

We just moved into our new home in Ocean City which was completely furnished by Platt's Furnishings. Our designer/sales person, Donna, with whom we met several times, was outstanding. Her guidance, patience and honest opinions helped us throughout the process. The furniture is extremely comfortable and of high quality. Everyone who comes to visit is very impressed by our choices. We highly recommend Platt's for your furniture and bedding needs. Brad and Wendy
