Relax The Back

I had a wonderful experience shopping at Relax the Back for a chair for my home office. I had struggled with back pain for years and they have a great selection and exceptional customer service helping you find the right fit. Prior to coming to Relax the Back, I had felt stuck choosing between more generic chairs that we not suited for my needs (which typically involves sitting at a computer much of the work day) or taking a big chance ordering something more high-end online. I am so glad I found this store and had the chance to try out and discuss different options before finally selecting the Humanscale Diffrient Smart chair.

We really enjoyed working with nick in the fairfax store. He was very informative and professional. No heavy sales pitches. Totally respected our choice to comparative shop. In the end, we came back to him, and bought an amazing bed. We are really enjoying it.

This is the second purchase I’ve made at Relax the Back. Customer service is exceptional. They know their products and don’t try to sell you anything. It’s all about finding the best solution for your situation. This is so unusual but so gratifying to interact with people who care about you and what you’re looking for. I highly recommend them.

The staff at Relax the Back have been delightful at each of my visits. Having lots of questions and jumping in and out of chairs on the showroom floor, I thought I might be a difficult customer. But every sales person showed great patience, understanding and took lots of time to help me to find the best chair.

I'd been researching higher-end office chairs for a little while as the chairs at my new job are... lacking, to say the least, which just aggravates my spinal birth defect. As I continued looking for potential relief, I discovered Anthros chairs and wanted to try one out before ordering. The nearest location to me (Williamsburg, VA) that stocks them is Relax The Back in Fairfax. I drove up on a Saturday morning and Nicholas helped me with testing their demo model and ordering my chair with custom options. He made the decision easy for me, as I'd originally planned to order online myself after visiting his store. I'm now waiting with great anticipation for the delivery of my buy-it-for-life chair. Invest in at least three good things for you and your health: 1 - A good mattress, since we spend about 1/3 of our lives sleeping. 2 - Good footwear, as it just does a body good. 3 - (A) good chair(s), particularly if you "drive a desk" as part of your job. Something to help maintain posture could make work just a bit more bearable.
