Santa Barbara Mattress

Buying a mattress can be overwhelming, especially if you’re as picky as my wife and I are. We both have completely different preferences when it comes to firmness, support, pillows, and sleep position, so finding something that worked for both of us felt almost impossible. Thankfully, Spencer and Karen made the entire process enjoyable. They spent several days with us, never once making us feel rushed or pressured. Instead, they patiently walked us through different options, answered every question we had, and genuinely wanted to find the perfect solution - not just make a sale. Their knowledge of mattresses, adjustable bases, pillows, and sleep ergonomics is incredible, and it’s obvious they’ve dedicated themselves to helping people sleep better. What really blew us away was their willingness to customize our setup. They made multiple adjustments in their own factory to ensure everything was exactly right for our individual preferences. That level of craftsmanship and customer service is almost impossible to find these days. We ended up with a mattress we absolutely love, an adjustable base that lets us independently raise our heads and feet (and even has a massage feature!), and pillows that were carefully selected for each of us. Every recommendation was thoughtful and tailored to our needs. To top it all off, Spencer and Karen personally helped us load everything into our pickup truck and made sure it was securely tied down before we left. That kind of service says everything you need to know about the type of people they are. Beyond being incredibly knowledgeable, Spencer and Karen are simply wonderful human beings. They genuinely care about their customers and stand behind what they sell. It’s rare to find people who combine expertise, craftsmanship, patience, and kindness the way they do. If you’re shopping for a mattress, pillows, or an adjustable bed, do yourself a favor and skip the big-box stores. Go to Santa Barbara Mattress. You’ll receive honest advice, exceptional service, and a sleep setup that’s truly customized for you. We couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Santa Barbara Mattress has been my favorite and only place in the county to shop for mattresses. I’ve been using them for seven years and the owner is amazing, their quality mattresses are top-notch and their service is very personalized and accommodating.. The owners go above and beyond to accommodate and come back if there are any issues and to be your neighbor!

Nice local mattress store, the team did an amazing job with delivery. The seller was very professional explaining the different mattress selection very well. Really glad, got the new mattress. Because, this improved my sleep. Good quality, fair price and good experience. Very grateful,

We are so happy with all of the products we purchased from Spencer and Parker at Santa Barbara Mattress. We purchased two of the Churchill and Smith motorized beds with a Loving Sleep Firm Mattress for the left-side and a Winston Firm Matress for the right side. They were so accommodating by deliverying and setting up our new beds in our home up in Cambria, about three hours north of Santa Barbara. They also hauled away our old beds at no additional cost. This was the finest experience we have ever had purchasing new beds. We highly recommend this company. Thank you for everything you did to help us with our new bedroom purchases.

Spencer, It’s been a pleasure doing business with you. I was impressed by your customer service. When your team delivered my new bed they were professional, courteous and mindful. They carried the mattress up a steep and narrow strip of road rather than risking jeopardizing the truck. They asked if they should remove their shoes so as not to soil the carpet, and then carried the mattress up a very tight stairwell. They asked and proceeded to position my new mattress in place. It was so late in the day and I know I was their last stop, but your team was engaging, efficient, and such a pleasure. You have a great crew. Continued Success, Victor Torres
