I absolutely love my experiences with Schewels. They are always helpful with everything. My experience today with the repairman were above board. Friendly, polite and did the job quickly. I purchased a house full of furniture when I got out of the nursing home last November and the remote on my lift chair quit working. I called and within 2 days someone was here to check it. They got it to work for me and ordered new cords,I also asked about a battery back up in case of power outage and they brought me one today. To say I would recommend this company to someone is an understatement! The furniture is beautiful, well made and the staff has been excellent to work with. I would give them 19 stars if I could. Thank you to the repairman who came today. This is one happy customer. Keep uo the hood work Schewels!

I purchased a coffee table and 2 end tables from Elkin Schewels. I've always had good experiences with them in the past but this time was beyond terrible. I did not purchase warranty for tables because there is nothing mechanical to tear up with them. Anyway my husband sat his drink on end table( what they're used for) and the moisture from his cup which wasn't even enough to be visible caused the wood to bow up and when I sat my lamp on the table which has a velvet bottom the finish came off. Nothing I have ever purchased has been so poorly made.It looks horrible. I had purchased the tables 10 days prior to this happening to them. It should have never happened. The customer service was terrible.The lady at corporate office argued with me and was very rude. I was told without warranty I'm just out of luck.What ever in the world happened to customer service? I used to love Schewels and recommended them to anyone needing furniture, but not anymore. I'm a business owner myself and couldn't imagine not standing behind what I'm selling any better than that. I understand warranties, but come on, I only had this furniture for 10 days and did nothing to abuse it Nothing at all was done to appease my total disappointment. I would tell anyone looking to go elsewhere.

My need for a comfortable, affordable lift chair had me shopping at Shewels online. I found that experience to be very easy, gratifying and productive.
