Worst experience ever. Greeted by a discourteous owner who had an attitude right from the start, as I didn't feel comfortable buying after being treated this way and confronted him about his rudeness, well saying that just set him off yelling and ordered me out of the store and threatened to call the cops. It was my pleasure to leave as I certainly wasn't going to purchase anything and was happy to walk out without issue but on my way out the door, he yelled “Go back where you come from”.…. Why he brought race into it I will never understand”. He obviously doesn't understand America’s history that it was founded by immigrants. What a disgusting human being, take your money elsewhere as he doesn't deserve any patronage. After departing his store at South Walton beach, Fl went shopping at other local businesses and even over to Destin. All other business persons I shared by horrible shopping experience with actually has heard about this guy, apparently he is the owners son and has a reputation for being a rude, angry and obnoxious towards people. I hope customers stay away from this business, he is absolutely a horrible business person and shouldn’t treat customers this way.

Fantastic selection at Skipper’s Furniture. We recently moved from out of state and needed to furnish our new home. We are thrilled with every piece purchased and the deliveries were seamless, from Dave and Lori to the very courteous delivery drivers A++++ service. We will return for all our furniture needs.

Skippers furniture is a fantastic furniture store. What ever your looking for they have it! I have purchased many pieces from Skippers and it is always enjoyable! I recently purchased a firm mattress. This is the first time that I purchased a firm mattress that was actually firm, and I have purchased quite a few mattresses. Thank you Skippers!

The salesman was very rude, telling customers, including me, to leave for no reason. Please stay away from this place if you're just going inside and look.

If I could give them 10 stars I would. We moved to town and needed a king bed set. We went to 5 other stores in town prior to coming into Skipper’s. I knew what I wanted and had already ordered it online but it was going to be 2 more weeks before it arrived. The owner knew exactly what I was talking about when I described what I wanted. Not only did he have it in stock but gave us a better price than we had on order for the bed alone and we got 2 night stands for $150 less than we had paid for the bed alone. Go see them today. Plus they give military discount.
