Great customer service from Tim Erickson. He knew I had been in contact the day before and immediately showed me the power recliners I was interested in. I ended up going with a much higher end chair and can’t wait for it to be delivered next week. Great experience.

We walked in with what we wanted in mind. Tim E. was attentive to what we were looking for. He was kind, helpful, willing to listen. We picked out the recliners (2) we wanted with the tall base added to them. Tim had everything added up for us within minutes and worked with us on the final purchase. He was able to schedule delivery on a day that worked well for us. Overall, a good experience with Tim.

Walked in and was met by Jenna with a friendly smile, I had been out shopping for a new bedroom, and comparing products and pricing. After going to Ashley Furniture and HOM Furniture, I stopped by for a quick look at Slumberland. It was not the pricing (although that was an added bonus) it was the service and the fact they had everything I wanted/liked on hand. I would highly recommend to everyone, before you make a final purchase anywhere, make sure to step into Slumberland in Fridley, you might just be surprised and impressed!!! The Manager Jenna will get you taken care of and treat you right!

We visited Slumbrrland several weeks ago, and couldn't find a bed that we wanted for the price we wanted. The salesman, Tyler Steele, was very helpful, and spent a lot of unrushed time helping us, but we decided that we would wait and look around a bit. Tyler let us know of upcoming sales and suggested we keep in touch with him. When we returned this weekend, the sale had started just as he said. He helped us again, knew his products, advised us well about each brand, and we ended up with exactly what we need at a reasonable price. Tyler is a fine representative of Slumberland. We would not hesitate to call on him if we need anything further from Slumberland, which is a really nice company.

The in-store experience was fine. The staff were mostly helpful and not overly pushy, though they do try to upsell some items. Purchasing the furniture itself was a smooth process. The issue is the delivery service. Before buying, I made it very clear that I needed a later delivery time because no one would be home earlier in the day. I was told that I could simply contact the delivery team to request a later window. That information turned out to be completely wrong. When I called the delivery team, I spoke with someone named Mike who told me that because I live close to the store, they will not adjust the delivery time at all, only the delivery date. In other words, their delivery routes take priority and there is no flexibility for the customer. For a purchase of over $5,000 and a service advertised as “white glove delivery,” you would expect at least some level of customer accommodation. Instead, customers are expected to schedule their entire day around the company’s delivery routes, regardless of what they were told during the sale. It’s frustrating to spend that kind of money and realize that the delivery schedule is built entirely around their convenience, not the customer’s. If delivery times cannot be adjusted under any circumstances, which is exactly how it seems to be if you call and ask to adjust the time, that should be communicated clearly before customers spend thousands of dollars and choose a delivery date.
