The Ethical Mattress Co

Thank you for your superb mattress recommendation and excellent customer service! We were long overdue for a new mattress (ours was 12 years old) and truly appreciated the great professional service and recommendation by Joe at the Ethical Mattress in Millburn, NJ. We were pleased to try different mattresses at their showroom and ended up with an Avocado Green 11" semi-firm mattress. We have had it for a few weeks now and it has been wonderful and a dream to sleep on. With the natural and organic materials of wool, latex and cotton, it has been naturally cooling than our previous mattress, even during high temperatures of the summer. We also purchased Avocado cotton sheets which are cooling as well and their pillows. I was able to customize my pillow with The Pillow Bar, which I enjoyed. We also appreciate the timely white-glove service by Joe and his team - they were very responsive and punctual on the delivery date. It was also great to have the chance to support our local businesses. The handwritten note was a very nice touch in the entire experience. Overall, this was an excellent mattress buying experience for us and I would highly recommend The Ethical Mattress Co for anyone looking for a new mattress. Thank you for being a Dream to work with! - Monica Liang-Allen, South Orange, NJ.

Hands down best mattress buying experience we’ve had. It’s clear they are not just about selling you a mattress and forgetting about you. Brian continued to help us after the fact with a few issues that came up. He is super knowledgeable and really wants the best for you. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!

I love my mattress. I’m an older woman who needs a cool sleep and this mattress provides this for me. It is also comfortable to sleep on. The pillows and sheets are dreamy. Finally, I tried my one pillow for a time and it just did not work for me. Bryan, the owner figured out a way to make it right for me. I have only accolades for Ethical Mattress. Thanks for your great service and wonderful products.

Surprised there aren't more reviews. This is the only place I found within a few hours radius of my home that allows you to test non-toxic mattresses. I got my model for a very reasonable price (essentially the same price as conventional but with more peace of mind). Bryan was a breeze to deal with and an inspiring business owner. He showed us a few options, gave us the logic behind everything, and walked out boxed-up mattress right out to the car and loaded it in. From what I can tell, he is running both a tight ship and one that is steered in the right direction. Just a straightforward and effective operation all around. I hope more American businesses trend back to this positive model. Thanks to Bryan and his team.

Brian educated me thoroughly on all of the healthy features of the mattresses. No toxic chemicals! It couldn’t have been easier to select a mattress in the pleasant show room and bring it home in a box. I couldn’t recommend The Ethical Mattress more highly and will certainly be using them again!
