Customer service seems good. Overall usability of "The Foam Man" has degraded since the closure of the brick and mortar location. My reduction from 5 stars to three stars is about customer interface with the business side. I still stand by my initial review (now replace with this review) that when we used to meet these folks at the brick and mortar store, you would seriously love them. Anymore, well it doesn't matter because the store is closed the activity is gone the people remote. I highly recommend this business though I doubt I'll be able to use it anymore.
View on GoogleI’m an art student at OSU and Foam Man Cen (pronounced like Ken) helped me with a big time project on a strict deadline. One of my working sculptures “Beater Truck” desperately needed a new seat but I wanted a seat that would align with the rest of the truck. Cen understood my concept and worked within it but also positively contributed unique ideas too. Cen is a skilled craftsperson and a talented artist who took my idea to a higher level than I could imagine. Due to my strict deadline, the day my project was due there was still a fair amount of work to do. Cen stayed open late and together we grinded out the seat in time for me to turn it in on time (night class). I was also given a student discount on top of the already reasonable rate. This isn’t just a seat cover but a complete tear down and reupholster. The “Beater Truck” is my daily driver and its never felt better to use. I’ve been driving the truck for 4 months now and its holding up great. It feels and looks like a high quality product that will last a very long time.

I had purchased 2 brand new wicker chairs online from a big box store and they arrived with foam (generous term for the stuffing used) and covers which didn't even fit the provided cushions. They were extremely uncomfortable and I probably should have returned the chairs. However I really liked the wicker frame and they were no longer available online to replace. So I loaded up the entire mess into my car and headed over to the Foam man to see if they could salvage my purchase. They were so professional and quickly went to work creating a custom fitted back cushion and quality comfortable seating. The owners are incredibly creative, talented, friendly, innovative and even extremely reasonable for the custom work they do and the quality of the materials used. I simply cannot rave enough about this business and its owners. They exceeded my expectations and I am very happy with the cushions they created for me.
View on GoogleThe community is lucky to have such a specialty store. This is a well run family business and has been in operation for nearly 30 years. The father is passing it on to the son. Both are extremely helpful and skilled. We had mattresses made for our camper. The old, heavy, awful mattresses were replaced with light, durable and comfortable foam pads. Wonderful! They sewed custom removable covers for the pads, and this looks and works fantastic!!! I'm so glad we found the Foam Man. Great service, excellent workmanship!
View on GoogleUsually when a beloved business changes owner, there is a concern for a change in quality. No worries here. The new owners offer outstanding customer service. I had problems with a mattress I bought before they became owners and they willingly stood behind the warranty. They even helped me set up the frame so I would not have the same issue again. Great people with high quality products and strong knowledge base. thank you.
