If buying furniture were an Olympic sport, our trip to Furniture Warehouse in Venice, Florida would have earned a gold medal… with fireworks. We recently purchased a new home in Venice, Florida, and needed to furnish it from top to bottom. What started as a “let’s just look around” visit quickly turned into a full-scale success story. With the incredible help of store manager Eric Nickerson, we purchased a kitchen table and chairs and matching credenza, a sofa and loveseat combination, table lamps, an entire bedroom group for our guest room, and a nice three-panel picture of some sea turtles. Eric assured us that he, himself, was hand painting all of the pictures each night in the back of the store. From the moment we walked in, Eric made the experience unforgettable. His knowledge, patience, and sense of humor turned what is usually a stressful, decision-heavy process into one of the most enjoyable shopping experiences we’ve ever had. In fact, this was hands-down the most eventful experience we’ve had since the birth of our children—and unlike childbirth, this came with comfortable seating and zero panic. We’ve worked with plenty of furniture salespeople over the years, but never anyone quite like Eric. He struck the perfect balance between being genuinely helpful and letting us take our time, all while keeping things light, fun, and surprisingly entertaining. At times, his level of assistance felt nothing short of miraculous—let’s just say if furniture shopping ever needed a patron saint, Eric would be in the running. Every piece we selected was thoughtfully coordinated, well explained, and clearly chosen with our home in mind. There was no pressure, no upselling nonsense—just honest advice, great humor, and a sincere desire to help us make the right choices. The delivery men moved my existing furniture to my garage before carefully assembling and placing my furniture where I directed. I will be a repeat customer.

She was amazing in understanding what we were trying to accomplish in the space we were working with. Tammy was very patient and helped us find a sofa, loveseat, coffee table, sofa table, dining room table and chairs. She explained all the warranties and delivery. The furniture was delivered on time and the two gents were expert in their delivery and set up of all the pieces, even though on the second floor.
