The Original Mattress Factory

We currently own a DreamCloud mattress, which is rated #1 or 2 on many review websites. Although it says it’s medium-firm, it’s way too soft and we hate it. We decided to get a new mattress so I started doing research. The first conclusion I came to was, old school innerspring mattresses are the way to go. The linked springs provide better support and increase the life of the mattress. The second conclusion I came to was, a 2 sided mattress makes sense. A 1 sided mattress forces you to sleep in the same spot all the time so it only makes sense the mattress will develop low spots. If flipping a mattress 2x per year improves my sleep experience and extends the life of the mattress, I’m onboard. The third conclusion I came to was, I need to go directly to the manufacturer. Better price. Better warranty. Better service. After researching and speaking with the staff of several mattress manufacturers, we went to The Original Mattress Factory. Cher & Colter (Sarasota) were very knowledgeable and helpful. And they weren’t pushy! They explained the differences between the various options and then they let us take as much time as we needed to make a decision. THANKS!

I was looking for a flipable mattress and according to some of the competition, these don’t exist! Well! I pulled into the Original, kind of on a fluke, and Coltor showed me the light! I used to sell mattresses and know how they are made- these are made the old fashioned way, that is they are made correctly and built to last! Mattress shopping in the era of ever cheaper materials sold at ever higher prices is not exactly my favorite activity. But this place made the experience significantly less annoying. Colter was helpful, informative and not at all pushy, which is a refreshing contrast to the approach of other mattress stores. This approach and the “old-fashioned” construction of their mattresses helped me feel confident that this purchase will last a lot longer than my previous mattresses.

We were on a very short timeline to buy a mattress for my MIL. Went in on Monday night and saw Pedro who was very kind and walked my husband and I through the various mattress types and timelines for delivering the bed. We came back the next day with my MIL and explained what we knew and Cher who was so kind and patient helped her test the mattresses. Both sales people were very knowledgeable and so kind with us. By the end of our second day. We had the bed she needed now and for the future for a reasonable price with the delivery time we needed. When the bed came she was delighted and the delivery guys gave her super kid glove delivery service. Thank you all for all the wonderful service and kindness.❤️

We finally found the mattress we were looking for! After purchasing another very expensive mattress from another brand and experiencing a lot of back aches, a friend recommended we get an Inner Spring mattress from The Original Mattress Factory. We found one of their stores in Sarasota, Florida and after a great presentation and tutorial from Cher, the Manager, we purchased the Double Pillow Top Inner Spring mattress. It was delivered and installed by an efficient delivery team a month ago. We LOVE our new mattress and QUESS WHAT?? No more back aches, plus we now have a great, restful sleep!
