Value City Furniture NJ

I am very sad that I need to write a 1 star review for VC. I had such high expectations. I had a wonderful and pleasant sales associate Arora in Lakewood. I picked out this lovely expensive bedroom set. The day it arrived as it was unpacked, the paint was chipped on the end tale. It was later replaced with a new piece. The paint on all pieces of my furniture have been coming off, chipping and fading. I immediately reached out the company and spoke to a gentleman that was rude, nasty, and not empathetic at all. Since I took at the warranty the eventually sent someone to touch up the paint. Well, the paint is still chipping. I am moving out of state and im being told nothing else can be done. I have asked for a trade in the furniture and was denied. My very hard earned money has gone down the drain and so has my $500 for the warranty. I wish someone from VC Furniture understood my frustrations and did the right thing. VERY DISAPOINTED

We have furnished basically our entire home with Value City and it has always been a positive experience over all. We recently had an issue with a 3 year old Sealy mattress we purchased there, and although we had some issues getting them to process a warranty claim at first, the management at Value City did step in and get us answers from Sealy and results and we’re extremely helpful. Thank you very much to the store manager, Brittany, for taking the time to listen to our concerns and for going to bat for us with Sealy. Ultimately, she and the service department manager were able to get the issue resolved for us and we were able to re select a new mattress. Derrick is the best and always helps us with our selections when we need something new for our home, and this time was no exception. He was very patient and kind with us and in helping us select the right mattress for us.

Brenda is an All-Star, and Cassie is extremely helpful as a manager!! Brenda took the time to answer every single question, and helped me pick the right fabrics for my new sectional and the pillows. She helped me figure out which pieces to get based on my available space, and it fits absolutely perfectly. I highly recommend Brenda to anyone looking for furniture!!

Great shopping experience with Patrick M. He was so nice and helpful, yet gave us space to look around. Nice furniture and great prices!!

Just want to give a big Thank You to Melissa .My wife and I stopped today to see if we could get some ideas on furniture for our new home we're moving into. Truthfully I was dreading this whole idea lol I am not into shopping. With the help from Melissa this turned out to be the easiest experience possible. She let us work around by ourselves and take our time looking around and getting ideas on what we like which was very relaxing. With her help on picking colors/fabric etc with my wife made it so easy. We ended up completely furnishing our home in less then 2hrs which was amazing to me. If your ever in the store please ask for her you won't be disappointed.
