One of the sketchiest experiences I have ever had. My adjustable base that I had set for store pick up was apparently stolen? Constant gas lighting from the employees. "We told you it was going to be 4 weeks"... "No you didn't I would have went elsewhere if you told me that" To put a cherry on the top. The only way they refund normally is with your full card number (not last 4 digits) over the phone or in store. Well didn't exactly want to do the phone option as my adjustable base was just stolen apparently and I live out of town... So in store option wasn't ideal... I would have done that option..... but....This wasn't a normal refund scenario though apparently they were switching credit card systems or had so many charge backs on their credit card system they were booted and had to go with a new one 🤣 Regardless, they couldn't process refunds on their "old" system didn't know when they would be able too. Heck pretty sure there was a time they couldn't charge cards at all and they just ordered without taking payment lol So I filed a credit card dispute. Just won the dispute today!!!! I was provided a conditional credit while the dispute was in limbo. So glad I didn't pay with a debit card. I would have been at their mercy. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
View on GoogleMy husband & I are 80, & our mattress was about 15 years old and saggy. We really were interested in a affordable memory foam king just the type we had in our home in Florida. We stopped by another mattress store but all the sales guy could show us were very expensive mattresses. So we went around the corner to American Mattress. What a difference, we immediately felt the sales guy Aaron had our best interests in mind. At our age we didn't need the best mattress just a simple memory foam mattress. We really enjoyed Aaron's personality and friendly manner. Thanks Aaron, the mattress is very comfortable with a 3 inch topper we added. I will send anyone we talk to that needs a mattress to go to American Mattress for all their bedding needs. Oh by the way, your delivery men were great! We had fresh snow the morning of delivery. We shoveled the sidewalk but these guys even put foot protection on before they entered our home. They were both friendly & courteous.
View on GoogleAndré was very friendly. (He was also very kind about my wild boy bouncing all over every mattress. 😂) He gave us a great deal on our new mattress and box spring. Even have us a free set of nice sheets for our new bed! And it will be delivered Monday. The whole process was pretty quick and painless. I would recommend American Mattress!
View on GoogleDO NOT shop at this store. I bought a matress from here on March 7th. I was told it would be in on the 21st. I called on the 21st then it would be in on April 4th. I called April 3rd. They didnt know when I would get my bed. Went into the store April 11th. Was told it would be in April 18th garenteed. Called April 17th and surprise surprise its not there. No one will give you a straight answer and they keep lying. If I could give 0 stars I would. This is the worst place I have ever worked with. AGAIN NEVER SHOP HERE!!! Update.....I ended up disputing the charge with my bank because I couldn't get an answer out of anyone. I found out why....they are going bankrupt.
View on GoogleDarren was very friendly and knowledgeable, store is set up to try different mattresses by comfort level, then we got to look at mattresses to purchase according to the level I liked! Delivery to door was free and we got a few discounts as well, he was very willing to work with our price range and expectations for the mattress. If you're looking for a mattress in Lapeer, come here :)
