American Mattress Mega Clearance Center

We went to the American Mattress store on La Grange Road and Roosevelt to buy a Purple Hybrid Premier 3 and Ascent Adjustable frame. I didn't know what to expect because of my poor experience in the past with mattress stores not being honest and making you feel like your paying too much. The store was very clean and all the beds worked properly. The manager Dave Vargas that helped us was fantastic! He was very patient and not high pressure at all, like most mattress sales people. He was very honest walked us through all the costs and did his best to make sure we got every coupon he could find. He was even extremely patient with my son that has Autism. I would highly recommended this location!

Tristan is remarkable! Great customer relations, knows the products (all) like back of his hand. Great discounts, including me being 80! Couldn’t be more satisfied. Told him what we didn’t like about current bed so we could “audition” many in-store. Accommodated us throughout the experience. Best experience ever!

Laura in Hillside was extremely helpful, and very knowledgeable about all of the beds on the showroom floor. She was very patient with us, and had us try several different kinds of beds to see what we liked best. The store was very clean and well organized. We weren’t sure if we were going to make a purchase today, but after finding our perfect mattress, we took the leap. We were very pleased that our mattress and box spring could be delivered in just over a week, and that the delivery team would remove our old mattress and box spring at the time of delivery. Can’t wait!

Bought a mattress in this store and was given a delivery date of 2 weeks later. Delivery never showed up and they rescheduled for a week later. I called the night before to make sure the delivery was coming this time and was told nothing had ever been scheduled with my bed and they had no idea when I’d actually get it. I went to the store and there was another customer with the same issue. We both got refunds, though my refund was done wrong and I had to go back a second time. Stay far away from this store.

I needed a new mattress urgently for myself and an adjustable bed for a loved one. Barry King at the hillside location was very professional and kind. He sold me the queen sized Celine Mattress By eclipse and the 3.0 adjustable bed frame with a twin sized mattress with respect for my budget. He also made sure that I received the items on the day that I requested. The team that came out to assemble was very kind and professional. They worked quickly and were very respectful in my home. My loved one and I are thoroughly enjoying our new bedding. My new mattress is very comfortable and my loved one is thoroughly enjoying the adjustable bed frame, especially the zero gravity feature. At first we thought that the adjustable bed frame did not work because it wouldn't move but then we realized that we needed to pair it. The instructions are in the book that comes with the bed and very easy to follow. I am very pleased with my American Mattress experience and would highly recommend stopping by the hillside location and asking for Mr. Barry King who sold me my mattress and adjustable bed frame to anyone who wants a high quality bed for an affordable price delivered when you need it.
