My wife and I had a very disappointing experience with Ashley. We were told by our sales associate, Matt, that our furniture would be delivered within 5-10 business days. Instead, it took 17 business days for it to arrive. At first, Matt was responsive over text and kept us updated. However, as the delays continued, communication became increasingly poor. Responses became infrequent, and we were given a series of excuses rather than clear, honest updates about what was causing the delays or when we could actually expect our furniture. When we called the store to discuss the situation, the experience wasn't any better. There was very little empathy for the inconvenience we experienced, and it felt like the representatives were more interested in ending the conversation than addressing our concerns or finding a solution. Delays can happen, and we understand that. However, when a company fails to meet the delivery timeline it promised, you would expect some effort to make things right, whether that's a sincere apology, proactive communication, or some form of compensation for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, none of that was ever offered. Based on our experience, we would not recommend Ashley to anyone. If you're looking for a furniture store that communicates effectively, values its customers, and stands behind the service it promises, we would recommend shopping at Big Sandy Superstore, or honestly, anywhere other than Ashley.
