I recently purchased a reclining sofa, a single recliner and Stearns and Foster bed. While trying out the single recliners I mentioned how large they were. The sales person said he could order a smaller version that would match the sofa (it wasn't in the showroom) and that the arms would be the only difference. He did show me a picture so I agreed. Once it was delivered I was surprised that it wasn't smaller but noticed the arms were different. During all this time we were readying my husband for major surgery. Its been under 14 days and my neck is so sore from sitting in this chair as the headrest juts outward more than the sofa does. So today I called and explained the issue and the timing due to surgery and recovery. I was cut short and told there is nothing they can do for me. I even asked if I could exchange for another type chair. The gentleman put me on hold and came back and said "Nope, cant help you with that, sorry" Ive spent the better part of three decades in customer service. While I know there are 'return policies', I also know that customer satisfaction is far more important and exceptions can be made. Im disappointed and would've hoped this could be rectified. Unfortunately, I haven't heard back from their 'guest services' department either.

Melissa greeted me when I walked in and was very pleasant. She helped me quickly and answered all of my questions. She also accommodated a very manageable payment plan for my purchase. I wanted an online item and she assisted with showing me other furniture pieces in the showroom so I could have a realistic idea of how it would look and feel. Thanks Melissa!

Ariel at this Naperville location was amazing! She greeted us at the door, introduced herself and guided us through the initial walk around. She wasn’t a shadow following which we appreciated from her. However she was readily available whenever we had questions. When it came to the process of the actual purchase she guided us through it and kept it real with us. We appreciate you Ariel, you were great!!

I had a wonderful experience shopping here, and I can't recommend this team enough! From the moment we walked in, Bryanna and Melissa were incredible. They really took the time to understand what we needed and explained every detail about the pieces we were looking at. They made the whole process feel easy and stress-free. A huge shoutout to the store manager, Wally, as well. He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and worked with us to get a great deal. It's clear that this team genuinely cares about keeping their customers happy and making sure every need is met. WILL NOT PURCHASE AGAIN OR RECOMMEND ANYONE. I purchased a dining set from the Naperville store. The same set was available at lower price online while i ended up paying more. On top I was charged $200 delivery fee even if I live in the same area as the store. When the delivery arrived, there was a broken piece that holds the table, even if we called it out, still Ashley furniture tried to hide and still set it up. I had to call support twice to have a technician visit scheduled. I am still waiting for technician and the dining table not very stable.
