We had the most bizarre and uncomfortable experience trying to purchase a refrigerator and dishwasher. The salesman was wildly unprofessional, and downright rude. As returning customers this was unexpected, and unacceptable. The salesman associate asked me if we had purchased appliances through them in the past and we answered that we had. Despite this, he continued to give me nasty looks as I tried to explain what we were looking for. It became so intense I asked if there was an issue as I was feeling a bad vibe. Despite knowing that we were returning customers, the sales associate walked away from my husband (I moved away from the conversation as he clearly had an issue with me), just as my husband was telling him which model we were interested in. We ended up going to Home Depot, and received exceptional customer service, and two beautiful new appliances. I wish I could give zero stars and will be sure to share this humiliating experience, so that others can avoid the same foul treatment.

Silly place- from the start wouldn’t politely explain something supper simple about their billing - also took the time to berate me about how “I didn’t understand “ super strange. Unclear what positive outcome they think this is going to have ? Professional kitchen bathroom renovation contractor here. Don’t worry Browns I’ll never bother you again or send any clients to you. I can’t say enough about Brown’s appliance. We’ve done business with them a few times over the last 10 years and the staff are attentive and informative and have always been a pleasure to work with. Recently we had some issues with our Dryer and needed assistance. Within a week technician Steve was at our home within a few days. Steve was friendly, humorous and extremely knowledgeable in the trade; a pleasure to have in our home. Browns appliance is the place to go for all your household needs.

We have purchased many appliances at Browns and will continue to do so into the future. This company is excellent example of how company should be run. There staff is knowledgeable and extremely helpful and there service is top notch. It doesn't take weeks for a service call it usually takes hours. Run! Run away quickly! Not one statement turned out to be true. Not one commitment they made was satisfied big or small. My range still isn’t here even though their web site shows it as a quick ship item! (Notably other retailers show the item in stock.) We all understand an item can miss the truck. This is Downeast after all. Ok, week one on the install was given a pass. Correctly they even called to explain the miss. Week two, surely it won’t happen again—but it did. This time no call. I had to call to find out. Promise was made to get back with new install date —no response. Cancelled order and requested refund. Yes, we will refund that tomorrow! Surprised are we to learn that didn’t happen either? I would love money to stay Downeast, but these guys show why it should leave. Spend your hard earned bucks with somebody who understands you have choices.
