I cannot stress this enough: never buy ANYTHING from this place. Five years ago, we purchased a dining set with 8 chairs from this store. At the time, the staff was extremely eager to sell us not only the dining set but also bedroom furniture sets. They hyped everything up, repeatedly telling us the chairs were genuine leather and made from top-quality materials. They also strongly pushed their extended 5-year warranty plan, claiming it would give us peace of mind. Thankfully, we only bought the dining set. Within just two years, the so-called “leather” on the chairs started tearing and peeling — and some of the chairs were barely even used. When we went back to the store seeking a repair or replacement, we were told that the chairs were actually made of synthetic leather and that “it doesn’t last long.” So when they were selling it to us, it was “top-quality leather,” but when it started falling apart, suddenly it was synthetic and expected to fail? To make matters worse, when we contacted the extended warranty service (that they strongly encouraged us to purchase), they told us the damage was not covered. So what exactly was the warranty for? For the past three years, we have repeatedly contacted both the store and the warranty company asking for some kind of resolution. Meanwhile, around the same time, we purchased furniture from Macy’s Furniture and Raymour & Flanigan. Those still look brand new — not a single scratch. We even bought another dining set from Raymour before this one, and it has held up perfectly. Save yourself the frustration, wasted money, and years of chasing customer service. Avoid this place at all costs.
