Jerome's Furniture Mattress & Patio Superstore-San Marcos

I gave them a five because things are tough these days. I was super pleased that I was able to get a live person on the phone. I wish it would’ve happened a touch faster. But they did call me quickly when I left a message. As a 69-year-old woman I always think that people dismiss me, my purchasing power And don’t take me a seriously as I’d like to be taken. I am a woman on a mission to buy a couch! I know my criteria. I want to be told what is in my criteria and then I want to look around a bit for myself. They did allow me to do that and that freed up my sales person as well. That’s when I found the couch that I wanted. My sales person Thomas was great and we worked out negotiated the deal very quickly. I like that part as well. I liked it that I could ask a question to another sales person and the customers were friendly as well as the sales people. That’s important in today’s environment. The store felt welcoming. I was afraid I was going to have sticker shock because of the tariffs, and that selection was going to be Paltry. I loved it that I felt my purchase was in line with my expectation. I loved it that there was a nice selection so I didn’t have to walk out of their empty-handed. That was super important to me. I wanted to close the deal. I have shopped at Jerome‘s for Over 20 years And I have loved the purchases. I have made there. I don’t like gimmicks or games. I wish one thing they had was a preferred customer discount so whenever I wanted to buy something, I would know I’d be getting my best price any time of the year. The sales person Carlos was very helpful and knowledgeable, we told him what we wanted and he showed us several different sectionals and we found the one we wanted with some changes. He was able to make the changes quickly. He helped with the credit application and the whole process was fun and light hearted. No stress he did an awesome job. Thank you Carlos

Visited the San Marcos store today to search for a caramel- colored leather recliner sofa and found exactly what I was looking for with the help of Thomas, a helpful sales associate. He assisted me in setting up a quick and flawless delivery (same day, WOW). He gave me a small price break, but it was on a floor model which was already discounted - so I really appreciated that a lot. He was kind, helpful and never pushy. To be honest, I usually dread furniture shopping, but I could not have asked for a better experience all around. I am happily sitting on the new sofa and am pleased as can be that I found such a perfect piece so easily. Thanks Thomas!

Picked out a sofa at the San Marcos store. Made an appointment for the next day to pick up in RB. Super smooth in store experience. Pickup was also super smooth. Dudes there were nice & loaded it right into my van. Was there for probably 3 minutes total. Great experience overall! Super smooth all around & Im happy with the sofa

In our twenty-two years of marriage, we have never bought new couches. It has always been used or hand-me-downs. Today we went to Jerome’s to check out their buy one sofa get one love seat free. We were a little apprehensive about going furniture shopping because we had heard that furniture salespeople could be very sharky. But that was not what we experienced at all. Erick E. was very kind and helpful but gave us absolutely no pressure. He showed us where to look but then gave us space to explore and decide. He was a true gentleman who made the entire experience wonderful. He shared information on their very affordable furniture care protection plan without being pushy. When he placed our order, we said we wanted the end table, so he gave us one. We later specified that we wanted two, but the fact that he did only one rather than two shows that he was not a high pressure salesman. In the check out office, James helped us with check out and was very helpful in explaining the various prices and the total. He helped us get a delivery date right away as well as our pick up date. From start to finish, we had a wonderful experience and are so excited about our new furniture. Ever since I was a little girl, I have seen Jerome’s commercials on TV. I was so happy to be able to go and take my business to this local business. We will definitely go to Jerome’s again and work with Erik for our future furniture needs.
