Very Disappointing Experience – Poor Customer Service I have always believed Jerome’s Furniture is a great brand across the USA, which is why I chose to purchase my dining table from Jerome’s Furniture. Unfortunately, this has been one of the worst shopping experiences I have ever had. When my dining table was delivered, I immediately showed the delivery driver that the table had visible cracks and damage. He acknowledged the issue and assured me that a replacement would be delivered within 24 hours. However, that time passed and no replacement was delivered. I then visited the store to follow up. I explained that I paid for a brand-new dining table and should not receive a damaged one. I was told that a ticket had been opened and that an associate would contact me within a few hours. Later, I was contacted by Jassica from San Bernardino. She refused to acknowledge the damage and would not approve a replacement. She claimed the crack was difficult to notice because the table is white marble. This is unacceptable — the delivery driver had already seen and acknowledged the crack at the time of delivery. I explained this clearly, but she still refused to help. After waiting without any proper response, I visited the Jerome’s Furniture - El Cajon location again. Instead of assisting me, the customer service representative was rude and dismissive. He refused to listen and simply told me to go talk to Jassica. His attitude was extremely unprofessional and frustrating. I paid a high price expecting quality furniture and professional service. Instead, I received a damaged product and very poor customer support. This experience has made me seriously reconsider purchasing from Jerome’s again. Very disappointed.

Katrina was great. She greeted us upon entering the store. She was very knowledgeable about the products. Katrina was able to listen to my needs and show me the different options. In the end my husband found an awesome deal. Katrina was even able to get it down a few hundred dollars. I’m glad I stopped in store today. I’m happy with our find and will be visiting my girl Katrina again for our rug. Thank you again 🧡

For me,someone who just hates having to go buy major purchase and deal with sales component, this was a very comfortable interaction at Jerome's Furniture El Cajon California. Our salesman was very on key to approach initially and how to pace himself and keep gap of time between encounters while we spent a good hour and half trying to determine a sofa sectional to purchase. Easy financial wrap up ..not lengthy hard difficult or stressful. Accommodating options and readily available reps at end of sale for such. Best purchase made in a while for me

Jerome’s Furniture is happy to sell you an extended warranty, but when it comes time to actually use it, they drag the process out, waste your time, and hide behind bad communication and endless delays. I bought a couch from Jerome’s about four months ago and paid extra for the warranty. Two weeks ago, the recline button broke. Since then, getting it repaired has been an infuriating joke. I was told it would take 7 to 10 days just to be contacted to set up an appointment, then given a narrow 4-hour service window that already made it hard to schedule around work. On the day of the appointment, I got a call at 10 a.m. saying the technician had canceled, and I’d have to start over. That is not service. That is disrespect. What makes this worse is the complete lack of accountability. You can’t speak directly to the technician, you can’t get a real timeline, and nobody seems to be in charge of anything. Every step feels intentionally designed to keep customers in the dark while they wait, lose time, and get pushed into another round of excuses. After going into the store and talking to multiple representatives, I was still told I’d likely have to wait another week for a repair that should have been handled long ago. This is exactly the kind of customer experience that destroys trust. Jerome’s is quick to take your money, quick to sell the warranty, and painfully slow when it’s time to honor it. If you value your time, your patience, or basic communication, buy somewhere else.
