Sales associates will tell you what you want to hear to make a sale. I asked the sales associate if the particular mattress that I was interested in would be compressed in a box when delivered. I was ensured that it wouldn’t be. Which made a difference in which mattress I would’ve selected. A few days later, it was indeed delivered, compressed, in a box. Just to double check, I asked a different associate the same question before I told him my dilemma. He again told me that it wouldn’t be… after I told him that I was lied to, he just tried to convince me to keep the mattress because I “got a good deal.” Completely ignoring the fact that I felt lied to and betrayed. I’m not even sure if I got an apology. I asked him to have the manager call me and I still haven’t gotten a call. He stated that they don’t know how the mattresses are delivered. If that were the case, they should say they don’t know instead of making up an answer. The website says that their employees go through rigorous training. Apparently lying to make a sale is one of them. I gave away my previous mattress so unfortunately I am stuck with the one that was delivered or I’d be sleeping on the floor until I can get a new one. Now I know why the store was completely empty when I went in. I will not be purchasing from Mattress Firm again.

I went in today looking for a certain mattress for a certain price, Doug was awesome, great personality and he helped me find exactly what I was looking for!! I had my perfect mattress and was done with my purchase in 30 minutes!!!! Thank you Doug, so much!!!!!😊😊😊
