Mattress Firm Michigan City

By far the best experience I’ve had dealing with any salesmen in any criteria. Evan was extremely helpful, kind and naturally a good human being. He absolutely knows his stuff in every department. This man deserves a fantastic raise for being so darn awesome. Thanks Evan for all your help this week! Anyone who is debating searching for a mattress or anything for better quality sleep, go here.

Big thank you to Jaccob for his help in finding our perfect bed and pillow combo! He was quick and courteous, as well as super knowledgeable! Thank you for such great service. We love our mattress!

I spent a little time with the sales representative and he was so helpful. Gave me clear information on filing my warranty claim and replacing my mattress. Then returned to make the replacement purchase and he has a gift of making you feel totally comfortable. Got the bed I wanted and saved some money. Michigan City Mattress Firm is the best. Highly recommend.

So my wife and I went in initially just thinking we'd get info about financing, see what options they had, maybe lay on a couple and see how they feel, and maybe there was even an in-home trial. Finances are tight, we weren't planning on making a purchase right out of the gate. The sales guy we spoke to, Jacob, had a good vibe about him, he didn't feel like the sort who saw every customer as a chore or an inconvenience. Makes communication much easier. That was a straight plus. I explained *why* we were shopping - my wife and I both have medical issues and we need a mattress that can accommodate that. He understood, but more importantly he empathized. Another plus. From there the conversation entered technics; what various mattresses were built from, how they conform to the body, even discussing human anatomy in the sleep environment. You can tell when someone it stumbling through conversation throwing out buzzwords or generic terminology because they don't actually know the subject. Jacob was extremely knowledgeable. That's three. In the end we wound up making a purchase. The financial aspect didn't quite work as we hoped but Jacob worked with us - not just a "well, better do this cheaper model" - the dude helped find a way we could purchase what we *needed*. Always an "A" for effort. As for the store itself, it was very clean. I've been in many a hospital laying in their beds and this place was probably cleaner than those. Even the restroom was kept very clean. Overall the physical environment presented by a clean and well-maintained building is nice, but the mental environment afforded to us by Jacob made the experience awesome. The sales world needs more folks like Jacob - knowledgeable, understanding and, most importantly, professional. Five stars to this place.

Came into Mattress Firm in Michigan city today thinking I would be in and out... then remembered mattress shopping is basically "try to look normal while laying down in public." Evan eased my nerves and made the experience easy and enjoyable. He was professional, super knowledgeable, and walked me through the brand and mattress-specific differences without any pressure. He had me try a bunch of mattresses until we found the perfect match. Highly recommend asking for Evan if you're shopping here, he's the real deal. I'll certainly be back for my future mattress needs!
