Rife's Home Furniture & Mattress

We purchased a new recliner and when we got it home there was a broken piece in the center of the couch. I called to ask for help (about 30 minutes after picking up the couch) and the sales rep gave me a hard time. At first she said there was nothing they could do. This was a big purchase and I had added the insurance that was to cover anything that could go wrong for 5 years. The sales girl discussed bringing it back.. and looking into what was wrong, asked me to send photos. She mentioned that I was costing them a lot of money and time. I pushed to order a new one to replace it since it looked like a manufacturer issue. After a long discussion she went to ask someone else and called me back. At this point I was very concerned about how things would go if I ever did need that insurance in the future. I called and asked for a full refund and returned the loveseat recliner. I did get the refund and the warehouse team saw that this break was an issue prior to our bringing it home. I don’t think I will ever purchase from here again. It’s terrible that you feel as if you are “costing a store money” when there is a legit issue with a product. We did find an amazing loveseat recliner at Brenner’s and have had an awesome customer service experience there. There is insurance included in our purchase and delivery with set up was reasonably priced.

What a great store! High quality, sturdy furniture at a fraction of the price you’d find at big commercial stores. There’s no sales pressure or anything to make you feel uncomfortable. Delivery was a cinch with efficient and professional workers. Finally, I have to say Brian is one of the kindest fellas I have met since moving to the Eugene metro area. He worked with me on my budget in finding me the right pieces for my situation. I would certainly recommend rife’s as solid option if you’re in the market for some new furniture.

Our salesman Jacob was kind, knowledgeable and answered all our questions around dining set choices. He found the dining set that best provided the versatility and functionality we needed for the dining space in our home. He went through several options after discovering what we were looking for. We are very happy with our choice to go to Rifes in Gateway and are looking forward to the arrival of our dining set.

The salesman was very accommodating, showing me what I said I was looking for. He was personable, likable, and explained about the warranty when I asked. Delivery was on time. I love my dining room set!!

Love our new furniture. Great price for a full 3 piece set. the delivery guys were awesome. showed up almost an hour earlier then expected. delivered and set up quickly. so happy we went with Rifes. Thank you!!!!
