We've been in a search to replace our old Queen size bed with two XL Twin mattresses supported on adjustable bases (reading in bed, elevation of feet, and so forth). After two other stores, we found Talon Furniture & Mattress in Hadley, Massachusetts, which has recently been relocated to a spacious facility that accommodates a wide choice, well selected and arranged for browsing - and (in the case of beds) for trying out! We visited twice, once with helpful guidance in our search by the owner, Allen, and on the second visit by the manager, Jasper. Both answered our questions with facts and no pressure, assuring we found the right solution. We decided on a pair of XL Twins with adjustable bases which even offer "Zero Gravity" as if you were astronauts preparing for launch! This form of weight distribution can remove concentrated pressure points (on lower back, neck, and joints) when lying flat on a mattress, and create a sensation of floating in micro-gravity. The beds will be delivered soon - thankfully after the busy Thanksgiving weekend.

My husband, I, and my kids went at least 4 times total in various configurations and they were incredibly helpful, kind, but also NOT pushy. We went back and forth a lot asked a bunch of questions, eventually chose, everything flowed very well! Delivery changed a bit because of storms, but they checked in and worked with us and when they delivered, they set it all up and tested the electronic parts and left it perfect! Very very reasonable prices too! Really highly recommend this place. I actually came by several years ago and didn't buy anything and they were great then too! Not pushy, which is so appreciated! Also I loved that the guy (Allen? Maybe the owner) had his son (10-12ish) there one day who helped recommend kid friendly couches, gotta love truly family friendly businesses!

10/10. Talon Furniture is an excellent local shop!When I walked in with my girlfriend the owner (Robin) immediately welcomed us and explained the selection he had on the floor and took his time to make sure we were finding the right bed frame for our guest room. He was not pushy. He made us feel welcomed as community members, and only wanted us to find what was right for us. I cannot recommend this place any more highly!

An excellent choice if you are looking for a mattress. The staff was very friendly and informative. We even had our mattress delivered the same day. The delivery men installed the frame very quickly. I am very grateful for Jasper for his help.

Bought our new mattresses here! Highly recommended. I knew they sold furniture, which they do. Some absolutely beautiful pieces. But I was not aware they had a very nice mattress selection. We checked out one of the larger mattress chains, but decided to go with Talon Furniture. It just seems the quality of mattresses were much higher than some of the big name brands. And the prices were on par and in many cases cheaper than the larger stores. Jasper was very patient and took his time with us choosing the right mattress. We also went with an adjustable bed frame. Delivery was top-notch. Very professional and courteous. Just an overall wonderful experience. Thank you so much!
