Do not buy a mattress from this location! My husband and I were a victim of a bait and switch scheme. We came back to this location because we loved our first bed purchased in 1998 so much and our mattress between then and now wasn’t soft enough. When we visited the showroom, we tried out all the high end beds and decided to buy the Orthos Ultra Pillow Top Mattress, one of their highest priced and supposedly best quality. The showroom was plush and very comfortable, and we were excited about our purchase. It was very similar to a bed we slept on when we went on a trip last year. We searched and searched for over a year and thought we found one just like it at this place. Little did we know we were in for a shock. What was delivered was NOT what we sat on in the showroom. NOT EVEN CLOSE!! We returned to the showroom 2 hours after the mattress was delivered and 3 different people tried to gaslight us with lies as to why the two beds were so very different. They tried to tell us it was different because we didn’t buy their box spring. Or that it was straight from the factory and needed to be used a bit. Lies! We paid over $2,000 for a mattress we can’t use!! And we can’t get our money back. We have to find a place to donate it, get an estimated donation receipt, and essentially get store credit from them to buy another bed from them. That’s insane! I suffer from chronic back pain and my husband suffers from neuropathy. We are suffering and now we’re broke having spent our savings on a bed that’s like cardboard to our bodies! As I sit here on this early Sunday morning in pain, all I can do is pray and post this so no one else goes through this. If I can prevent another hardworking family from losing money, maybe some good can come from this. We were swindled, but you don’t have to be. This is not how a company should treat people who save for a year to buy a mattress. This is not how you treat returning customers. And this is certainly not how you treat veterans! (Oh, and they don’t have a military discount) Shame on you, Original Mattress Factory! SHAME ON YOU!!
View on GoogleI was VERY impressed that salesperson Lonnie (who wasn't even the one who took my order) came out to my apartment to address a concern that I had regarding the possibility that the mattress that was delivered was not the one that I had ordered. In doing so, he went "above and beyond the call of duty"!
View on GoogleMy husband and I bought a mattress set 8 years ago and were very happy with the quality and service we got. Recently we decided to make another purchase from them .Big financial mistake . We bought a queen set for over a 1,400.00 dollars. The quality of this set was poor. We called the sales guy who said to come in we qualify for a one time only "comfort upgrade" This was a joke turns out the comfort upgrade was no comfort for us. . We agreed and purchased a second set queen next grade up from the last and were told we could do all this only if we gave them back the set we just bought so they could donate that set to a non profit company in their name. We only got a discount on the upgrade if we agreed. There goes that set donated our new bed . We just bought it still has plastic on it ! My husband has a bad back from a car accident and restless night of sleep were important and so we agreed but to our disapointment. We now have paid double for another bed we have stored in our store room. We were told they do not take RETURNS. We cannot sleep on for the quality is just not the same we are very disapointed original mattress factory you would do this to your life long customers.I am still paying the credit card that we put these two useless bed sets on. Save your wallet and bad backs compare and ask about the return policy when you get a product from these guys I wish we would have. Christmas for us would be a little bit more comforting.
