The Original Mattress Factory

Today, my husband and I went to buy a new mattress. We already own one from the Original Mattress Factory; we love it. We entered knowing that we'd purchase a mattress today, but we did not expect such an excellent, warm, enthusiastic salesperson, Samantha. She was great! She explained the different types of firm mattresses from the coils to the warranties to delivery and set-up. The entire experience was excellent because of her!

Finding a good, firm, long-lasting mattress is a lot harder than you’d think. Over the years, I’ve been to many mattress stores and was sorely disappointed. Not the case here. I purchased my mattress many years ago and it’s just as firm now as it was when it first arrived at my house. The price was VERY reasonable as I ended up paying a fraction of the price that other stores charged while receiving a mattress that was far superior in both quality and durability. The saleswoman was very kind and knowledgeable. The delivery was timely and everything was super smooth. I can’t say enough good things about this place. This place truly is a local gem and I would urge anyone looking for a new bed, especially an ultra firm one, to come here.

THE. BEST. MATTRESS. PLACE. EVER. I appreciated the no-pressure experience, led by a KNOWLEDGEABLE salesperson. The store layout is simple and the mattresses are quality and made to last with a non prorated, 10-year warranty!

We purchased an Orthopedic Super Pillow Top Mattress (rated medium firmness) from this store after testing it out in person. When we made the purchase in September, we were told that the name of the mattress had just been changed but were assured that it was still the same mattress. What we received was the Orthos Ultra Pillow Top Mattress (rated very soft). Its significantly softer than the mattress we tested at the store, with so little support that my partner and I sink in and roll into the middle even though its brand new. The manufacturers changed more than just the name of the mattress - this feels like a completely different product than what we had tried. The store will not offer any return or exchange without us paying an additional fee. Very disappointed in our experience.

Excellent advice but high prices. Use this store to decide on type and softness of mattress but then consider buying elsewhere. $5000 was way more than we wanted to spend. Elsewhere, Bought a different mattress for under $1000. Not quite as firm but much more affordable foam mattress. Be sure to read reviews on mattresses online. Some online stores allow trials for up to a whole year. Some firm mattresses are actually soft, depending on manufacturer. When I purchased a mattress a few years ago I used a tactic of telling them how much I actually could spend, on my way out, and they came down to that price as I slowly walked out. That probably only works at owner operated stores, but I still own my $350 mattress and love it.
