Americas Mattress

Salesman ( very polite and helpful)told me when I purchased a mattress for $4777.77 my old mattress will be bagged and put to the curb for trash. Well delivery company told my elderly mother that don’t do that . So she tipped them and called me. I go to the store and explain this to the salesman manager and he told it it was because I did not tip them assuming I didn’t and I should have tipped them twice once to bring it in new mattress and once to take it out the old mattress. I was shocked he even said this. After I explained his salesman should not have promise me they would take out the old mattress and I did tip them sense he so rudely assumed I did not and demanding a tip as a above minimal wage employees is against NYS Gratuity policy and I sure NYS labor board, Attorney General and IRS would agree with me since these demanded tip I ASSUME is not claimed as salary. When there driver was tipped it was in front of my ring bell camera clearly capturing my mom handing the driver cash saying here’s your tip my son left. Scott ( mgr) let’s see what NYS feels about how you told me to hide a little extra tip in my hand and when I shake hands with delivery company they would get money and be happy to do anything I ask. I was shock this even happened. Shocked! So yes I’m reporting this to NYS consumer board , NYS attorney general and NYS labor board . Thanks Scott for tipping education or should I say illegal practice. Thanks for leaving my old mattress leaning against my bed room wall and stereotyping me assuming I need an Education on tipping . At this pointing I going to wait one week for America mattress to fix this before I go forward with my actions. Btw Mark was a great salesman’s this has no reflexion on his service .

To the old man that is too fed up to do his job and chooses to disrespect his customers, its time to retire buddy. I went in the store looking for a mattress. The old man could not care less about my preferences and had me choose a mattress lined up against the wall. He did not want to be bothered by taking down the mattress as it was too much work for him. The backhanded comments were unnecessary as well.

I must say I am one very satisfied customer and I will highly recommend this store to all my friends & family The salesman was very knowledgeable and took his time with us. The prices are great.and as I said the service was also…. If anyone needs a mattress to their liking , America Mattress is the place to shop….

Avoid this store at all costs. They have no respect for their customers. An old employee working there didn't have the decency to let me finish talking and explaining what I'm looking for. He immediately denied me service because it was too inconvenient for him and disregarded my opinions about what i needed for my home cutting me off after every sentence.

Customer service is excellent!! They answered all my follow up questions after my purchase via phone call promptly. They were also very accommodating! Hector was great!
