We had an extremely disappointing experience with Ashley Outlet in Canton, both on the sales rep side and the larger Ashley Furniture corporate side.
We purchased both a mattress and a sectional couch from this location and were assured by sales representatives Trent Bond and Conrad Likens that a 3-year protection plan ($279 value) would be included for free because we were purchasing both items together. However, once we received the bill, we discovered that the $279 protection plan had been added as a charge despite being explicitly told it would cost us nothing.
The delivery experience was even worse. We paid approximately $200 for Ashley’s “White Glove Delivery” service, expecting a premium, hassle-free experience. On 05/07/2026, our sectional was delivered with one section broken. The delivery team took the damaged piece and assured us a replacement would arrive the same day, but it never did.
We were then told a replacement would arrive the next day (05/08/2026) between 8:00–11:00 AM, but the delivery window kept getting delayed all day until around 6:30 PM. When the replacement finally arrived, it was broken again, and we refused delivery.
We were left with only half of a sectional couch because the damaged sections were taken back. To make matters worse, customer service was extremely frustrating to deal with. We were hung up on multiple times, promised supervisor callbacks that never happened, and told they would refund only $25 of the ~$200 White Glove Delivery fee after two failed deliveries and damaged merchandise. It ultimately took filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and waiting over a week to finally receive an unbroken couch.
This experience was the complete opposite of what was promised at the time of purchase. We expected better communication, honesty, and accountability from a company this large, especially one with higher Google reviews.

My husband and I went in looking for a new mattress and to see the selection of couches Ashley furniture had to offer. We were not anticipating buying anything that day but once we realized they had started their memorial day sales we decided to move forward with purchasing a mattress and a L shaped couch. We were excited to find out our items would be delivered just a few days after purchase on 5/7. We purchased the white glove delivery service for an extra charge of $200. Delivery day comes and half of our couch arrives damaged. We understand things happen and weren't too upset with the fact so the delivery guys packed the half of the couch back up and returned it to the truck. They ensured we would have a replacement part delivered, same day, undamaged. We were excited for a quick turnaround and thanked them as they left.
We did not receive the undamaged piece same day but weren't totally surprised. Later that evening i got an email stating that the left side of the couch would be delivered between 10-1 the next day. That morning I receive a different email that the right side of the couch would be delivered between 10-1. I worked quickly to try and call to make sure we were receiving the correct side of our couch (the left side), and not a duplicate right side of the couch. I was told the order had already been put on the truck and they could skip our stop since it was the wrong piece. I told them don't skip the stop because I had received an email stating one of each side so hopefully they had the left side of the couch on the truck. Once the couch was delivered on the 8th, my husband met them at the truck in case it was the wrong side so they didn't completely unload it and bring it inside the house. The delivery drivers confirmed it was the left side of the couch and they brought it in. After unwrapping the furniture, we discovered that the furniture was damaged yet again.
At this point we are frustrated with the back and forth and the interruptions of our work day to receive two pieces of broken furniture. The delivery drivers ensured we would have the correct unbroken piece sent to our house by the following day 5/9. At this point we got in touch with customer service requesting a refund for the white glove delivery, we were offered a $25 credit to our account and told that was the best they could do.
After more back and forth with the customer service representative over the next week, with hours wasted on hold and speaking with a new customer service rep, we had enough. We filed a complaint against Ashley Furniture with the Better Business This was only after we filed a complaint against Ashley Furniture with the Better Business Bureau. Suddenly, they wanted to play ball and realize that paying $200 for a "White Glove" delivery service shouldn't come with half a couch for a week and constantly frustrations and unmet promises. Once were transferred to someone else that specialized in BBB complaints, things were resolved.
In the end, our furniture did not get delivered until 5/14. The representative ensured us we would have a VIP delivery check to make sure the item wasn't damaged before it was delivered. She was able to fully refund us for the white glove delivery charge. Finally we have our couch and are done with Ashley furniture. I would not recommend using this company.
Also, watch out for the floor salesmen's "discount" tactics. We were told that because we were buying a couch and mattress at the same time, we would get a better deal and they'd include the 3 year protection plan. We were thrilled to hear that. That was an absolute lie. They added on the $279 protection plan to our bill and we didn't notice that until after the sale.

We’ve had multiple warranty issues with Ashley Furniture, and the experience has been extremely frustrating. Despite following their process and providing documentation, we were told we must drive 2.5 hours back to the original store just to resolve a defective mattress—something that was never disclosed at purchase.
We’ve also dealt with a malfunctioning adjustable bed that left my bedridden father stuck upright, with no meaningful support from staff, and a separate warranty claim denied as “wear and tear” that we did not agree with.
After repeated runaround, we’ve filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Buyers should be aware of the difficulty in actually using warranties purchased through this company.

We could not be more pleased with our experience at Ashley furniture outlet. Billy, our sales associate, was knowledgable and friendly. He quickly assessed our needs and led us to precisely what we were looking for. We loved the collection he showed us but were stuck on choosing color and deciding on the dresser vs chest. Billy was not at all pushy, in fact he made us feel very comfortable as we opted to go home with measurements and review our choice further. Upon returning to the store a week later, Billy was off but his manager helped to quickly set up the purchase and delivery. She too was fabulous, as was our delivery team (from communications prior, day of and during set up!). Thank you Ashley, we love this new bedroom set!

Trent was our salesperson and he was very helpful!
Our new bed frame arrived today and we love it. The gentleman that delivered it set it up so quickly and it's perfect.
I really like how Ashley sends communication every step of the way from the point of sale all the way to the tracking if the furniture delivery truck on the map. I never had a moment of concern or trying to guess when they might arrive and the entire process was very smooth.
We'll definitely purchase more furniture from Ashley in the future after this experience! :)
