Ashley Store

Rating online Ashley furniture and not this specific location. Ordered the Davinci Suzy swivel recliner and when it arrived the footrest would not go up, even when we tried to force it. Customer service said they would send a new one but when it arrived it was the wrong color. Customer service then offered to pick the old one up or I could keep it and get a 5 percent refund. They said if I opened it I could not return it for a new one. My baby was due in several weeks so I kept the wrong color out of desperation. When the new recliner was installed the footrest also got stuck and would not go up. Since I opened it, I would not be eligible for an exchange or refund, but how would I have known it was faulty without opening it? Asking if I wanted to keep it, but saying i couldn’t return it once it was opened was a trap. I submitted a one star review on the Ashley site for the product so others could know about the potential foot issue but Ashley didn’t post it. I reached out three months later to see why it wasn’t posted and they said someone would call me. It’s one month later and no one reached out. Highly don’t recommend ordering anything from this company.

Our experience with Stephen was great!! My husband & I came in with our twins to find new couches for our living room! Our current couches were also from Ashley. We've always been happy with what we buy here. Delivery was a breeze as well. You could tell the guys do this all day everyday. Fast, yet efficient!

We ended up at Cardi's via the Ashley Furniture website. We had previously seen Ashley furniture at a "discount" store, but their supply was very limited. Cardi's showroom was beautiful and welcoming. We were immediately greeted by Susan. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. Susan's shift was ending soon so she turned us over to John. One of the things we really like was that the sales staff was not high pressure. They directed you to pieces that would meet your criteria and let you wander when you wanted to. The overall experience was relaxed and enjoyable. We finally decided on a loveseat from one set and two rocking recliners from another set that fit my "shorter in stature" wife. Even though the colors / upholstery style were slightly different, they complement each other. Delivery happened 3 days later and the delivery gentlemen could not have been nicer. They ended up coming early due to a cancellation of another delivery. We told them we still had a loveseat that we needed to move before they could arrive and they told us they would be happy to move it for us. They were very gentle and professional and didn't hit any walls or other areas. Overall, we highly recommend Cardi's from sales to delivery!

This was our first time at an Ashley store and my husband and I had a great experience dealing with Stephen M at the Chicopee location. No pressure, plenty of time to browse the showroom and immediate answers to questions. We ordered a 5 piece bedroom set on Wednesday afternoon and it was delivered and set up on Friday afternoon. Delivery communication was impressive and set-up, inspection and cleanup were done very quickly. We love our new furniture and it looks high end!

We had a really good experience today. John Wolowitz (no relation to Howard) was exceptional. We felt that he went out of his way to show us products to try so we could feel confident about our purchase. He was very knowledgeable, and we appreciated all of his input. He answered our questions, and never tried to push us in any direction. He was there as a resource. We bought a beautiful bedroom set with all the matching pieces that we wanted. Dove tails, hard wood, very well manufactured. The set is a beautiful sleigh bed set. They were quality pieces of furnature at a decent price. I would recommend going there if you're looking for quality at a good price. Ask for John, he'll treat you right.
