Ashley Store

We recently purchased some furniture from Ashley and had the pleasure of working with Janice. She was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and patient throughout the process. Garrett, the store manager, was equally great and quickly became part of our furniture adventure. The plan was simple: buy furniture, have furniture delivered the next week, enjoy furniture. Unfortunately, Ashley apparently introduced a new AI system into their warehouse and delivery operations, and our furniture decided to enter the witness protection program. Delivery day arrived, but only part of our order showed up. When we called, neither Janice nor Garrett could get a straight answer as to whether the missing piece was in the warehouse, on a truck, or perhaps exploring its own journey of self-discovery. The new system seemed to know less about the furniture's whereabouts than we did. After several phone calls, follow-ups, and what I can only assume was some detective work worthy of a true crime podcast, Garrett was finally able to track down our missing furniture and confirm delivery. Better yet, he kept his promise to make things right and took great care of us throughout the process. We intentionally waited to write this review until everything was resolved. While the warehouse AI may have been auditioning for a comedy series, Janice and Garrett were outstanding from start to finish. Their professionalism, patience, and commitment to customer service turned what could have been a complete nightmare into a story we can laugh about now that our furniture has safely returned from its mysterious adventure. Five stars for Janice and Garrett. The AI? It might need a little more training. 😊

BUYER BEWARE! We purchased a living room set that was on the display floor from Ashley Furniture in Tallahassee FL. Before I agreed to buy I asked the sales person if it would come with a warranty. She went to ask a manger or supervisor and returned to tell us it would have a one year warranty. The following day when I picked the set up I noticed a flaw in the back panel on the loveseat. I noted it with the people that were loading it but assumed it would be taken care of so I went ahead and took it home. When I got the set home I realized the flaws were worse than expected. The following day I returned to the store for a power cord that I was short and a supervisor entered a service request on the issue. Ashley Furniture assigned the inspection and repair to a outside company that not only made the determination it was a manufacturer defect but their technician determined the loveseat needed all three rear panels replaced and the couch needed one. He said the materials would ship directly to us and he would return to make the repairs. A few days after the technician visit I received a fast talking voicemail from an Ashley Furniture employee saying they would NOT repair our furniture because it was a clearance set. I tried to call back with the caller id and also the online numbers and got channeled through a loop that ended with mailbox full and disconnection. After listening to the message 6 times I was able to make out the number the caller left and called that. The person I spoke to told me a manager would call me back within 24 hours. In the meantime I had called our salesperson’s cell phone and asked her to have a manager call. Late the following day a person called claiming to be a manager from the Tallahassee store and telling me the home office had determined the damage was cosmetic and since I accepted delivery they were not going to repair it. I pointed out I was promised a one year warranty and the repair company determined it was a manufacturer defect so it should be repaired. He finally agreed to ask the “home office” to reconsider but never called me back. I have attached a photo of the wrinkled mess they stuck us with and a screenshot of the email I received from the repair company.

Thank you Faith. You were wonderful to work with. We finished our transaction in 30 minutes because you understood what I needed 3 dressers and a kitchen island/table. The clearance section in this store is really nice and not overfilled with junk or unattractive items no one wants. I'd certainly visit this store again. Now, we are waiting on delivery and I hope they deliver with the white glove service I am expecting. Thank you, Faith for you kindness and amazing assistance.

I have had an experience... At first I was mildly inconvenienced by the new AI "Jenny" but Jamie Kuhn, in store management, helped me trouble shoot and find a fix while I waited on the updated delivery. She was truly great!! Patient, honest, and very helpful. I will return for more business because of your kindness my friend. Thank you :)

We had an outstanding experience with our recent bedroom furniture purchase. Faith assisted us through the process and explained the different options we had available. She was very professional and helpful. I highly recommend!
