Bedding Barn

My partner and I walked in looking for a new mattress, Steve went above and beyond to make sure we knew exactly what kind to get he is extremely knowledgable. Even after we mentioned we weren’t looking to buy today his tone stayed the same , happy and attentive getting to know us and what we’re looking for. He was extremely kind, personable and a true joy to be around we will definitely be back to buy. If you are in the market for a mattress and see a lime Hyundai outside I highly recommend stopping in to see Steve!

If I could give the suspenders wearing, lime green kia driving Steve zero stars I would give him negative 5. I purchased a mattress set/box springs from him in Oct 2024. Ive been having issues with the Serta mattress for a while now with a big dip right in the middle of the mattress. I wake up every day extremely sore in my shoulders and back because of this. Mind you, this mattress is not even two years old. On 6/13 I went to the store to see about any warranty I have with the purchase. I should get 10 years out of a mattress, not 16 months. As soon as I walked in , Steve hit me with his spiel. My foot literally broke the threshold of the door and he was already yapping away. I told him that if he would let me get a word in, he would realize im not there to purchase a mattress, but to find out about my warranty and what kind of depreciation I could receive. I already decided on a Tempur-pedic, but he didn’t know this yet. After explaining what im dealing with, he went in the back to locate my receipt. He came back over to me and said he agreed, that I shouldn’t be dealing with this issue. He then started with the “I can put you in this set that would be great for you!” I then broke the news that I already decided on a Tempur-pedic. He says “Ok, follow me.” He brought me to a set of mattresses and told me these are their version of Tempur-pedic. I looked him in his eyes and reiterated that I had already decided on Tempur-pedic. His response to this made me speechless for a good minute. He says “If you think im going to give you money to purchase a mattress elsewhere you’re crazy.” I couldn’t believe he said that to a customer he sold a defective product to and in the manner he said it. I told him not to say another word to me and go get me his supervisor’s information. While he’s writing that info down, I asked him for a copy of my purchase order. He refused multiple times so I was forced to grab his copy and take a photo of it. The entire time he was writing his supervisors info he ran his mouth. I’m 6’5 full of tattoos and most people are intimidated by my size and stature. Not Steve. He ran his mouth like you wouldn’t believe. I turned to leave and he kept going. I turned around and told him im leaving do not say another word to me. Turned to leave again and again steve ran his mouth saying im crazy to think I would get any money back ect. I turned and told him not to say another word to me for the second time. Turned to leave again and wouldn’t you know it. Steve opened his mouth yet again. I turned around and stared at him. He kept running his mouth. It was then that I realized he was egging me on. He was trying to instigate me into doing something to him or the store. There is something seriously wrong with this guy that looks like the 1992 Batman returns Danny DeVito version of the Penguin. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and Bedding Barn customer service. I highly recommend not doing business with this man!

Popped in randomly to look for a king size bed to replace my 15 year-old bed.Stephen met us immediately. He was helpful and knowledgeable. You will get a dose of goofy jokes with Stephen, but at the end of the day he took care of us. I bought a king size bed and was also given a set of king size sheets only to find out when I got home the fitted sheet was a queen size. Stephen made good on the manufacture error and replaced the sheets.

Went in and got what I wanted quick. Steve was great, and the delivery went smoothly.

8/14/24 Walked in with my elderly client today. The gentleman with the suspenders was beyond nasty. We didn’t even get past the front door and she stated her budget and what she was looking for. He states very rudely “That isn’t a budget for a hybrid and if you are looking on Amazon for that, that isn’t a real hybrid-good-luck.” We thanked him and as we were leaving he said, “See you in a year.” I was so close to responding,” If your open!” The place was dead and I see why. If you see a gentleman here with suspenders and drives a lime green Kia, RUN! He's rude and we got a great deal at Bob’s with Clementine’s help! The buying experience was amazing and we didn’t have to deal with a nasty, nasty man!
