Service was great, product is great. We bought a wool and natural latex mattress and the Alana platform bed a few years ago and they are still in great shape. The Alana bed is made of beautiful wood. The delivery people set up the bed like they were a Nascar pit crew - so fast! They did a great job. The office was always available and addressed any concerns. Five stars.

I purchased a Boston ES Queen Bed High Foot Black Iron Silver with Antique Brass from Charles P Rodgers almost a year ago and I am extremely pleased with it. I first communicated with Tim H. via email inquiring about their beds and what I was looking for. Tim suggested I visit their showroom right here in NYC and that was very useful. The team was also very accommodating during the delivery scheduling process. I wanted to wait a number of months before writing a review to see if the bed held up to my standards and I’m pleased to report that it was one of the best purchases I’ve made.

Luxury Mattress That Didn’t Last We purchased a top-of-the-line bed from Charles P. Rodgers five years ago, though it has only been in regular use for four years. Unfortunately, the mattress has developed a dip exceeding one inch, which has made the bed uncomfortable and has caused consistent back pain. Despite this, the company will not honor the warranty unless the dip measures at least 1.5 inches. We were instead advised to replace the internal “cassettes” at a cost of over $1,800—nearly half the original price of the bed and more than the cost of many brand-new mattresses. This was shocking, especially given the premium price point and reputation of the brand. It is also important to note that the mattress has been used exactly as recommended: placed on the proper foundation and rotated regularly per Charles P. Rodgers’ guidelines. Additionally, the required method for measuring the dip makes it extremely difficult to capture the true extent and impact of the sagging. This was the best bed we had ever owned—until it wasn’t. For a product at this price level, we never expected it to become effectively unusable after only four years of proper use. While the initial comfort was excellent, the longevity simply does not match the cost.

I've enjoyed my Lifetime mattress going on 4 years now and its just as comfortable as when it was brand new. Today I called the Manhattan store to get some tips on care and maintenance. Steven was happy to help and gave me step by step instructions to ensure it gets even wear. Steven was my sales rep when I purchased the mattress in 2022 and I would definitely recommend him and Charles P Rogers for all your mattress and bed needs. Their quality is superior, and salesmanship genuine.

Steven took great care in giving me a charming, personalized tour on which models they have that suited my preferences best and helped me choose the mattress on which I sleep exceptionally now. After deciding, the subsequent customer service was great, and they were especially obliging for accommodating my personal circumstances upon delivery. Highly recommend!
